This restaurant is everything industrial chic. The inside is full of unique features that you just have to see from a winding staircase to an open kitchen that makes the whole place smell like the menu. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that the seasonal menu is unexpected, instead of the predictable Rochester choices your pallet really gets to play here. For appetizers we had wing dings, chicken wings in a five spice and orange jelapeno sauce. It left much to be desired texture wise, the outside was crispy but the inside wasn't consistent and had gummy bits. We also had the fondito that could have used more seasoning and an added creamy consistency. Somewhat disappointed by the appetizers I was absolutely blown away by the entrees. We had the Pollo Loco that was beautifully plated with layers of flavors and the Forbidden Salmon featuring a perfectly cooked salmon in red curry coconut carrot puree with a lovely balance of heat, sweet and fresh accompanying vegtables and rice. The creme brulee was classic and the fried dough bites had a delicious raspberry sauce. Our server Ryan was the cherry on top. He had us laughing and was knowledgeable as well.

Love Nosh! They always have a unique, but delicious menu and great cocktail list. I think this is a great place to go with a group. It's busy, but I've never felt like I had to shout or anything in order to speak to my table-mates. Highly recommend!

The service was a bit slow but this restaurant seemed very busy which is a good sign. The portion sizes were large for the entrees and were shareable. The dishes were unique and had good combination of tastes. The K-chop was quite good and I enjoyed the Pollo Loco. The pizza had fresh ingredients which my friends liked.

Overall, the food was good but a bit salty. We sat outside and asked the waiter multiple times for the heat lamps to be turned on, but they only got them on as we were leaving. Also, it seemed like we were forgotten about by the waiter because it took him almost half an hour to return to our table just to write down our orders. The food did not take terribly long to arrive however.

Nouveau American cuisine with a Korean twist. We mostly like our dishes, a big Kahuna, a house special prime rib and a steak with glass noodle. The meat were seasoned and cooked properly with good side vegetables. All dishes tasted good but very salty. All can definitely improve from using less salt in its seasonings. Good wine and beer list. Good attentive services.

Great food with a fun atmosphere. Service was a little slow but not enough to deter another visit. Will definitely return.

We visited Rochester for a weekend and came to Nosh for a dinner celebration. The experience did not disappoint. I booked via their online system which was very easy, but my schedule changed. So, I called up their front desk and was accommodated right away which was great. When we arrived, we were seated promptly and welcomed by staff. Our server was courteous and prompt. The food was amazing and the drinks were creative as well as interesting! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend the bone marrow and beef skewers. The ingredients were fresh and the seasoning was just perfect on each dishes. The only issue was there were only two of us and we wanted to try everything while their portion was super generous!! We had left over and when we reheated the beef skewers and the big kahuna dinner the next day at our hotel, they were still delicious!! I rarely took leftover and reheated them while we travel at hotel, this was probably my few exception and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. If we return to Rochester, we definitely will visit Nosh again.

Visited Nosh for dinner on a Friday night. The main dining room was packed and lively! We were seated in their garden room, which at first, I was a little taken aback by this; however, it was quieter in there and it worked great for me and my companion (she is hard of hearing). The food was fantastic, rivaling any other comparable restaurant in Chicago. I ordered the POLLO LOCO (breaded chicken cutlet, avocado, tomato, cucumber, jalapeno, crema, cotija, arugula, black bean puree) and it was FANTASTIC! I saved some so I could enjoy it again the next day for lunch. My dinner companion ordered ELOTE FRITTERS and the MILK & HONEY salad. Both were great! The Milk & Honey salad had a light tough of lavender, which was more of a flavor pop instead of it taking over. The service was attentive, food was great, and the atmosphere was nice. I will go back if I am in Rochester again!
