Had dinner as a group of six. The menu had a good variety of options but wasn't overwhelming. Everyone was very pleased with the appetizers, meal, and dessert. Our server was attentive but not always interrupting. It has been added to our list of places we really like. The venue is not a large place so reservations are recommended.

Rocco gave me E-VER-Y-THING that I needed! The service was absolutely fantastic, the food was incredible and we all enjoyed the intimate atmosphere! The squid was my favorite dish and it was cooked to perfection! We definitely found a new place to dine!!!

Rocco has wowed me twice now with their delicious food. I didn't have a single thing I didn't like. Small restaurant with an Italian bistro feel. The cocktails are great and I highly recommend the Paulie G pizza.

So popular there was a wait when we arrived. Highly recommend calling ahead first. Thankfully we were able to get in without a reservation. Worth the wait! Probably the best old school Italian restaurant in Rochester, NY. They have outdoor patio with a water feature! Lots of great choices on the menu, and unique specials. Try the fresh ricotta, never had something so creamy, umami and delicious before. Perfect dress up date night with an option for casual dining.

Love this unpretentious, authentic Italian restaurant. Our group of four had grilled calamari appetizer, arancini, tri-color salad, crispy fish with butternut caponata, mushroom pizza, spaghetti with shrimp, and quail with Gorgonzola polenta. Everything was delicious including the wine and cocktails. We had the to-die-for butterscotch pudding (with a birthday candle for my daughter) for dessert, a few divine bites each. If you get a dessert, get the pudding!

Probably the best old school Italian restaurant in Rochester, NY. Expensive but excellent. The pork based sauce has a great flavor. All meals are well prepared. Only issue is limited seating.

Wonderful dinner, great service. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. We sampled a number of items from the menu and all were delicious. The homemade ricotta with charred bread is a must. Reservations are needed unless you want to sit at the bar.
