Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse

My brother. And wife drove 3 hours to go to dinner there. My sister and her husband 1.5 hours. It was our Christmas dinner. I ordered the delmonico, one ordered veal parm, one ordered chicken parm and 2 ordered linguini and clam sauce. The food is and was consistently fantastic. Service was a little slow which is unusual. But we had a great time. Thanks everyone.

Friday night and didn't have a reservation, but got seated after ~25 minute wait. Our lover friend joined us for a table of four. Service was very good and our booth was clean. The bruschetta was a great starter, but my Delmonico stole the show and was a perfect medium. ~$160 for two adults with alcohol, appetizer, two entrees, a dessert to-go + tax & tip

Seating was rather awkward, which seemed odd for so large of a restaurant; seems there should have been more space. And a place for jackets in winter weather. I guess a crowd was around where one would normally put jackets? Service was kind and attentive, and the food was excellent. For the price, it darn well better be!

Been to a lot of restaurants and this one by far stood out. The lighting in the place was dim and gave a calm welcoming experience. The waitress Cassidy was amazing and attentive. We enjoyed having the bread, the chicken parm, the red pepper sauce salmon and the rigatoni with two large meat balls. To top it off, we indulged with the Cappuccino pie which was a massive slice of cappuccino ice cream with walnuts, chocolate chips, sauce and whipped cream (i don’t eat whipped cream but this one here was awesome) had a great experience.

Started off good. The waiter is coming back checking on us and giving refills. Until food came out. Ordered steak with pasta side. Steak came out swimming in greasy oil, and pasta was cold. The waiter decided to avoid table no refills on anything. Or updates on steak. Almost 20 minutes later, he brought steak and dry and fatty. Ask for the manager. Told him what happened. He fixed issues other than steak dinner. My pasta dish was cold as well. Had them heat up in the microwave twice. Had some. Tasty dish, except peppers where chunks. With a small portion of chicken. Went before it was fabulous. This time, it was not.

I have come here for my birthday for at least 7 years now. The food is always great tasting and the portions are very generous. However, during my last visit, my fathers delmonico steak was about 35% fat that needed to be trimmed off. For a $39 steak, there was barely any edible meat. This is unacceptable, and the chef should not have sent the dish. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and always do their best to make sure guests are satisfied. The bar is always well stocked and the bartenders know how to mix a good drink. Lastly, the atmosphere here is very welcoming and relaxing. The theme of the restaurant pairs well with the food, and does not feel cramped and cluttered. I will continue coming back here, but I do hope they figure out a better solution for the delmonico steak.

OMG, my food was delightful! My server was great! I was visiting Rochester for work, and this was the best food I had the 3 days I was there. I started not to post because I had started eating and only sent this to my husband. The photo does NOT do the meal justice. People get melted garlic butter to add on the steak, can't go wrong! Best deal is the Delmonico.
