Now open . Improvement is impressive . Still have to say . Our corn nuggets are a total treat to say the least , this last order was under par ( slightly under cook ) . The service was excellent ( intercom system error) ... Nevertheless chicken was faabulous nice taste , color , and crunch , ( love the crunch ) tasty mashed potatoes with creamy gravy MMM . Soda had the right taste nice and icy .

They shut down to make improvements but can't tell what those were! Customer service leaves a lot to desire and those that prepare the food are no better. 3rd visit after reopening and last. Raw chicken 1st visit, 2nd visit almost 10 mins for someone to take my order at the drive through no straws or cup size for my order so I get a large cup filled maybe 1/2 way. My last visit - no chicken the car before me took all the chicken legs, they couldn't tell me that when I ordered? or offer a substitute piece instead of the rotisserie, if I wanted rotisserie, I would have asked for. It's lunch time! Why can't they be prepared! Good bye golden chick. You've lost yet another customer. prepare

I have always had a positive experience at any other location, except this one. For one they didn't have any zing sauce ready which is okay but they weren't even worried about making more. Whether they want to or not its their job and instead of making what needs to be made they were at the register talking about nothing work related. Another thing that made me upset is that they got our orders correct but when they made them they were incorrect. We ask for mashed potatos as the side and they gave us fries. I also asked for a to go box and it was thrown at the counter. Young girls working there with no respect to the customers.

third time we have gone since it reopened. First time our tenders were very hard no chicken mostly breading. Our fries were cold and hard. Second time same thing and they only put us 3 tenders for a 6 piece. Just Got for lunch right now waited 35 minutes and they forgot a a 2 piece kids meal then said it was going to be another 10 minutes cause there wasn’t any tenders. Asked for fries gave me macaroni and forgot my gravy. Also said there wasn’t any straws for the drinks… since they have reopened all of our experiences have been horrible 👎🏽

I purchased a four piece chicken tender dinner from the Golden Chick in robstown. The staff was quick to cut me off on order, when I open the box the gravy was about a quarter of the container, the roll was hard, the fries were cold, they only filled my soda cup halfway up. I called the number on the receipt that says to call for a good or sad experience and that number kept hanging up on me. I called the store and spoke to the manager, when I told the manager that the gravy was a quarter of a container he told me it was an 8 oz container and that they only gave 6 oz of gravy. I explained to the manager that if the containers 8 oz half of a container is 4 oz and a quarter of a container is 2 oz. He had nothing to explain why the role was hard or the fries were cold or why I only got half of a soda. For $10 this is ridiculous. He told me he would give me a refund if I brought back the product. I am a traveling nurse by the time I realized how short amount of food I had I was 35 minutes away. I will be in that area in 7 days and he proceeded to tell me to hold on to the food for 7 days and bring it back to him for a refund. This location puts Golden Chick restaurants to shame. For a company that has such great food and for this location to perform like this and hurt the reputation is unheard of. Very disappointed. Thanks

My husband and son ordered 16 pieces tenders didn’t get gravy or French fries they want to order okra but they were out so they told them Mac and cheese they get home and it’s green beans. This place is not good at all the tenders were very dry and my husband said they were not busy at all. This will be the last time I will eat golden chick.

Since the reopening this place has gone downhill. My family and I really used to enjoy this place but the staff is beyond horrible!!!!!! I constantly see them goofing off instead of making food. They have got my order wrong three times in the past two months..yeah…shame on me for consistently giving this place a chance. Not only have they got my order wrong but they also have left items out. Please fix this issue as we do love this place and would like to continue to be a valued customer, get a grip, much obliged.
