Blount Clam Shack

Throughly enjoyed and couldn't finish our fish n chip and clam cake and chowder special .Chowder was quite delucuios and full of clams ! Everything is well organized with napkins and condiments on the tables.they give u a vibrating disc with your order which is Very fast. We were hungry 😋 after enjoying the folk festival at Rose Larisa park.! A few notes It is family friendly next to the loop carosuel. After tramping up and down the hills and valleys at Rose larisa park . The clam shack has nice picnic tables you don't mind sharing with strangers . Special thanks to the girl ❤️ that brought our tray out to the table. A special note to wheelchair users, like myself ! thier are alot if hills from the park to the clam shack( the second one is a doozy,meant for SKATEBoarders!

Visited today for the first time, this location is very busy but I still got my food in a reasonable amount of time. Very friendly customer service with a nice little outdoor seating area. Cute location right next to the Loof Carousel with a nice water view park across the street and the food was great too!

We just moved to the area and I had been wanting to try this place for a while. We went at 5pm on a Sunday and there were quite a few people there. We waited in line, and our food came out pretty quickly after we ordered. We had other people call ahead and their order was ready in 20 minutes. We got the lobster roll with dill mayo, footlong hotdog, clam cakes, and NE chowder. The lobster roll was delicious! Plenty of lobster and a nice roll. The hotdog was just average. The clam cakes were probably the highlight of the meal! Very soft and large! The chowder was pretty good as well. We will def be back to this location (but we will call ahead next time!)

Great place for chowder and clamcakes ! Although I think they should be using tongs to pick up the clamcakes, not their hands. Even though they wear gloves, I've seen the same person handling those buzzer things that everyone has touched then grabbing clamcakes without any change of gloves. If I see them doing that, I only order chowder.

The food here is delicious!!!! Perfect summer hang out. Its usually a bit of a wait but its worth it and there's a corn hole game there that anyone can play while they wait, plenty of room for kids to run around and a great lot for parking. If you play Pokemon go this is a great hang out for you as well! There's 5 checkpoints in the area and two nearby gyms. Plenty of awesome Pokemon pop up there as well.
