The staff is always so nice here even if they are low on staff. They do their best to accommodate and are very pleasant. The food is your local comfort food. It’s very enjoyable to bring my kids here too. They love their ice cream that comes with their meals!

I absolutely love Riverhead Friendly's and I am so saddened about so many Friendly's closing. I hope Riverhead Friendly's continues to do excellent business. That was my son's first job as a teenager and he's now 32, some of the staff there still know him! We are always treated like royalty and since I retired to Arizona I have to have my Friendly's every time I go back to New York. This time I went overboard, when the kids' food arrived I ordered myself another super size Reese's Pieces Sundae! That's how good they are! Excellent ice cream, toppings, long term staff that care!

I’m glad we still have places like Friendly where you can have a great time with your family and enjoy a delish breakfast, my nephew and niece love ths place so much, the waitresses are just amazing always makes us feel welcome and feel like family. Hope the business owner is taking good care of them. Looking forward to visit them again.

Friendly's is.... Well.... FRIENDLY 🙂
Over 30years later, only change was the building moved over to second building on the large lot. Friendly's first used to be on the actual corner (the 1st building) . Different old layout. Today's layout matches all the other franchise layouts. Great place to eat. I like that I am able to switch out the ice cream flavor for others on the Jim Dandy. Thumbs up. 👍

This location does still do breakfast all day, which means the tie dye pancakes for my kid's birthday dinner. The service is every bit as Friendly as the name says it should be. Truly wonderful server staff ♥️

We happened to be in the Riverhead area last Sunday and decided to celebrate my brother's birthday locally. It's been a while since we've had dinner at a Friendly's, but we were pleasantly surprised how good it was. Our server Luisanna was excellent and provided great service throughout our meal. My black raspberry Fribble milkshake was the perfect drink to accompany my Fishamajig Supermelt. Our New England clam chowder soups were great starters, full of flavor and comforting. My mother loved the way her Pastrami Supermelt was made with coleslaw in the sandwich. It really was a great combination! My brother especially enjoyed his creamy Lobster roll sandwich, fresh with large chunks of lobster meat. It was a great price for the value. We topped off our dinner with Happy Ending Sundaes, very simple yet very satisfying. Thank you Friendly's for making our birthday celebration an awesome and friendly experience!

Ordered pick up and it was done on time.
However, I was not happy with the fries. One sandwich ordered came with fries AND I ordered a side of fries. I got one order of fries that was the normal size you'd get with a meal. I paid $4 for the extra fries. I even asked while there to pick up that I was getting two sides of fries and was assured I was.
I don't mind that cost for things have gone up, but skimping when a customer pays is not cool.
