I should have written a review long ago, but best service and best Jamaican spot from Nassau to Montauk. While I worked in the area for 5 years I would frequent this location during lunch break as my cheat meal cause I cook from home most days.
Mrs. D and Family were always nice always welcoming. I introduced Mrs. D to my mom one day when I took my mother shopping at the outlet. Love the food and love the energy, I regret that I have moved out of state and this location will be missed.
P.S. to the people who said the food does not have flavor and spice........ that have never been my experience. also There have been days when I would walk in to pick up food for my family and just because they knew they would be closing and did not want left over the next day; she would give a few extra patties and meats which I really did appreciate. miss new york so much wishing this restaurant the best and so many blessings!

Fantastic food and service! The jerk chicken was fall off the bone tender and delicious. Perfectly cooked rice and peas and plantain. The owner was kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back for more!

Absolutely fantastic all around. The food is flavorful, tasty, delicious. The owner is so kind. I’ve had many different meals here, all have been stellar. This restaurant alone makes me enjoy Riverhead that much more.

After eating one spoonful I asked myself why I didn’t get two orders of their Mac n Cheese. Just … yes. They were a godsend with the Jamaican attitude to match (haha). Highly recommend. Happy Eating!

I stayed at the Hyatt visiting the Long Island Aquarium and found a must try place Shadees, Super Delicious I had the jerk chicken next time I'll try the drinks when i order the oxtail, curry goat,and empanadas.

Food is really tasty! I love the ox tail that it’s so soft, it’s tasty and the flavor is strong enough!! I actually had it to go, so don’t know much about the dine it part, but so far I’m happy!

Very first time visiting today. Very clean, quiet, calm and nice atmosphere. Food looks and smells terrific. The lady was very friendly and shows good hospitality and patience. Plantains were cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The rice was out of this world Great flavors and the chicken was deliciously cooked. The beef pattie with coco bread was amazing. I will be back again. GOOD FOOD
I strongly recommend to order food here if you’re looking for Jamaican food. A+

Impressed. Being from Brooklyn\Trinidad I was skeptical to try but I’m glad I did.
1. Oxtail was bussing/solid. Same for curry chicken and goat along with Mac and cheese.
2. Pricing was fair for the portions and quality.
3. Shocked. Best customer service I’ve experienced from a Jamaican resturant!
It’s a honor to recommend this place without hesitation or reservation, you’re in for a treat!

Delicious! This was our first time in and we’ll surely be back. Curried goat and oxtail were amazing and the portions generous. The ribs were also super - tender and tasty. Friendly service also - it’s clear everything is made with love!

Can't even express how much I love this place. I first ordered through Uber and got it delivered for lunch and it was fantastic. They left a wonderful note on the food which honestly made my day. Went back a second time for pickup and was equally as delicious as the first time. Highly, highly recommend Shadees. If you want some food to warm your heart and soul, this is the place. ❤

I’ve been wanting to try this place for quite some time. My daughter and I went today. The service is incredible. They’re super nice. The food is amazing. I loved it! The only tiny thing I was missing was a little more spice (heat/spicy). I will be back to explore their menu more! And I’m bringing friends.
