Farm Country Kitchen

Heard great things. Tough for handicap and physically challenged people to get to the outdoor bar and seating area, though the inside works for them just fine. If you don't get the Truffled Ricotta you're missing out. Fried artichokes were tasty also. I had the half duck special which was outstanding and plentiful. So delicious in the fig reduction, not too sweet and I'm not a sweet guy. Family had the other dishes, all excellent. Great wine list. Waitress worked hard going up and down those steps. Lots of helpful staff. The scenery on the Peconic River is worth the drive. Beautiful running water with the trees looking elegant. Absolutely worth it.

First time here, recommended by a friend. A nice early dinner after a visit to the aquarium. Everything was amazing. The ambiance, the service, and most importantly the food! Do yourself a favor and try their goat cheese toast with the berries and balsamic glaze. 🤤

Food delicious [had a few sandwiches & salad], service was quick and the view tranquil & relaxing in front of the water. Quaint house converted into a restaurant. Only downfall is location is on a busy street when crossing must be careful. Wished they had a crosswalk light.

Stopped at the Farm Country Kitchen for lunch the day before Thanksgivings Day. Although the resturant us setup to take advance of the outdoor view of the river the space heaters keep everyone warm. The angus burger was cooked to order, medium rare and very flavorful. Great resturant to visit in Riverhead, NY.

A great atmosphere, and I'm sure can only be improved by a little more staff (they are currently hiring and really the only thing that needed improvement was that the staff are working a little too hard and stretched too thin). We ordered the truffle appetizer, unfortunately they were out and settled on the avocado flatbread. Settle is the wrong word because damn, it so good. Our disappointment of the appetizer we wanted being unavailable instantly disappeared. My wife and I had a cocktail, and the bartender has a heavy hand, which is a compliment, I hate paying for a cocktail and it is weak. Now lunch came shortly thereafter. My wife had the Maria panini, and I tasted it. It was fantastic, flavorful, and different. My daughter had the bonfire wrap. She was very pleased, I gave it a taste and can see why. For myself I had the park bench salad. Nothing extraordinary about it because it is what it is (watching what im eating lately), but it was still great, tasted very fresh, and at the end there wasn't a morsel remaining on my plate. As I write this my wife and daughter are waiting for dessert, however I have high expectations now, but rather sure we will NOT BE disappointed. Prices are reasonable, and even more acceptable when you take quality into account. Definitely returning, 9.5/10. Also I see it's dog friendly which is a plus.
