After moving to the Butler area from the "Pizza Triangle" Nutley area, I thought I was done getting top quality NJ pizza. Little did I know that this gem was right around the corner from me that offers authentic Italian style pizza that is some of the best I've ever had. I would eat here every night if my wife would let me.
My friend invited me to this place, we had pizza �with mushrooms loved� it especially the chi chi salad� was delicious and excellent service, having a pizzeria around the corner like this one, ,amazing ,, I would recommend to every pizza lovers���
Most delicious pizza I ever ate! The guys said try the bbq chicken pizza and pulled pork pizza but I didn’t!! I got white pizza and meatball pizza from recommendations!! So yummy and fresh!! But I’ll be back soooo yummy!!
We got Coney Island Pizza to bring their wood fired pizza truck to our home for a friends and family party and boy was it a hit! From the very beginning part of the process, all our questions were answered in a timely manner. Their prices were very competitive and they put together a solid display of pizza for our guests. Everyone had great things to say about the taste, the smell and overall ambiance the food truck brought to our party. It was nice to not have to grill for 50 people! Rob and his guys were awesome to work with. Thanks so much!!
Coney Island Pizza is thee best pizza in Northern NJ Period !!!! Do yourself a favor try it and i Guarantee you’ll love it too.... Great tasting Pizza top Quality ingredients and very good prices , its a weekly order for me and im so glad i live 5 minutes away from them too...Lol Thank you guys keep up the great work !!
I’m glad there’s a wood fire pizza place nearby that’s not on the highway so it’s not really crowded. Not a huge space but inviting and the food is great the options are cool.
Pizza comes out quick so be ready to enjoy.
I’m giving it four stars because I think the menu could use a little more items that are not just pizza. I would love to see an eggplant Parm made in that oven!
The pizza was excellent. We had a ceasars salad and the buffalo pizza. It was amazing. The prices were great!! Please stop here if you make a visit tp Wayne, NJ.
This place is a true gem. I feel lucky to live so close by. I love pizza. All pizza. This place makes pizza the way it should be made. It's wood fired pizza. It took me as long to drive there (15 mins) as it did for them to make the pizzas I ordered! Staff is always really nice. Can't wait to order again.
Coney Island mobile pizza truck came to our son's 1st birthday party and they were fantastic! Throughout the planning process, Robert always made us feel comfortable by assuring us they would be there to help rain or shine! Robert and his guys were great to our guests, ensuring everyone had what they wanted. They even gave us so many pies left over that we could enjoy throughout the rest of the day/evening. We cannot wait to work with them again for future parties and would highly suggest them to anyone looking for a unique, fun party idea!

Hidden gem! Definitely worth it. This place makes amazing wood fired pizza. Not your typical NY/NJ pizza, so manage your expectations. Perfect balance of thin and crispy, but yet pleasantly doughy crust. I'm guessing they use the good 00 flour to get that perfect chew. Fresh, high-quality ingredients and creative toppings... Dessert pizzas are killer too. Be sure to ask what the specials are too; they come up with some great stuff!
Only minor complaint is the location/parking, which isn't terrible; just less than ideal. They'd crush it in a more accessible location, maybe. But the food more than compensates for the lack of parking.

Rob and his crew catered my wedding with their mobile wood-fired oven, it was our main course and the food backbone of the entire day. Our venue was a private pavilion in a public park, which presented its own considerations for parking the oven and getting food served in an efficient way. These guys were absolutely flawless! Rob worked with me from the moment I contacted him months ago, up to the day of the event, and ensured no detail was left to chance. He arrived exactly on time and got right to work with no further direction required. Our guests were raving about the pizzas all day and I can honestly say they were exceptional. It was so nice having fresh, hot pizza being served 'endlessly' while our friends and family got to talk and enjoy themselves. The salads were also remarkable too, which is not something I ever thought I'd say about bulk salad in a catering setting. Overall, could not recommend these guys enough and am so thankful I didn't have to worry about a thing. We just enjoyed ourselves and everyone left full and happy.
