This patisserie is VERY good and I highly recommend their Almond Croissant and their Sticky Buns. Two of the aspects that set their pastries apart from other places is that due to the French style there’s more butter used and nothing is overly sweet. Also, their prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly! I’m glad I discovered this little gem and hope it remains open. I didn’t get any of their Christmas treats but as you can see they’re absolutely adorable!

Omg omg omg. As I was driving way out to the middle of nowhere to get this cake I asked myself if this was really worth it? YES HONEY IT IS!! This is the best king cake I've had all season!! I'm definitely making this drive again!

Absolutely fabulous patisserie. Their pastries are so good and well done that really seem done in France. King cakes (gallette des rois) are a must during Mardi Gras season. One of the best in town! Highly recommended!!!

Delicate, soft, and buttery pastries. Absolutely divine. I lived in Europe for quite some time and this bakery absolutely meets my high standards!

World class pastries. Kouign-amann should be your first bite. Obviously grab a croissant. Maybe a morning bun if your feeling funky. Then whatever looks good that day (it all does). Seriously, I eat low carb almost always. I’ve been trained myself in baking and pastry so I know what is good. This is the place I “cheat” for. I live by the idea of the “cheat” food I eat having to be worth the calories. Most of the time it’s a failure for those expectations. These pastries are always on point and honestly I’m probably lucky they have a limited schedule. If you live in River Ridge or Harahan congrats. If you live in the surrounding area it’s worth the drive. You are not a Nola foodie if you haven’t been here. Hit it up!

This place is an absolute gem! I highly recommend their Pistachio croissant - if they're available. (You do have to get there early as they go quickly!) Their Kouign Amann reminds me of the DKA at Dominique Ansel. I bet there'd be a line out the door if this bakery were located in the quarter.

I'm a regular at their stall at the German Coast Farmers' Market in Destrehan on Saturday mornings, but I like to visit the shop in River Ridge if I'm passing. Their patisserie is excellent - their croissants are some of the best I've eaten (and I have spent some time in France) - though I often default to their pretzels which are delicious. My family love the Kouign Amman, and the brownies. The photo is what's left of this morning's haul, and it is very unlikely to survive the rest of the day. I'm glad to live this close to such a great patisserie.
