The food here is awesome!! I had a combination dinner - Mandarin Chicken, pork chowmein, and crab wontons. Shared pork with hot mustard, seeds, and spicy catsup with friends.

The outside is very unassuming, we were not sure what we were getting into but my brother recommended it. I ended up having a great time. The food was good and the service was prompt. Though to be honest we went when there weren’t many people. Overall the best Chinese restaurant I have been to in months.

I was told the rice is more plentiful if you dine in. I was hoping for a bigger serving of the steamed rice I got. Should be the same amount no matter what. The food was good. Prices a bit high for such a small serving of rice for take out.

No meat in anything. Ham fried rice with 2 tiny things of ham. WOW... 2 small pieces of chicken in hot spicy chicken that was sweet, not hot at all. Well worth going to Idaho Falls for Chinese food.

New star is a maw and paw oriental restaurant. I don't know if it is because I grew up with it or what, but I haven't found a place with better fried rice, and I have been to Hawaii and Washington state. So when I came to visit my folks this is one of the first places I stop to eat at.🥰🥰🥰

Multiple times they have forgotten my egg roll in my order. Including today. It's my own fault at this point. Just be sure to check your food before you leave.

Great food. The plates were a bit smaller than I expected after seeing the price. I would definitely recommend getting the lunch specials, it'll give you the best bang for your buck.

This is fake americanized versions of Chinese food. The egg rolls are whack and the way they make you order the dinner meals is asinine. I m only one person why do I have to order a dinner selection for two? Doesn't make a lick of sense and is ridiculous. Im officially done eating here i can make better Chinese food from home and my egg rolls are way better.
