Amazing place! Gorgeous industrial interior in the original Ford manufacturing plant, next to Rosie the Riveter museum.
The food is excellent quality - multiple options inaide the market place, seating is comfortable and spacious, and service is fast. Love the cozy industrial vibe and the waterfront views are wonderful.
Came for brunch, they also do events and sometimes open the whole glass-house to dinners it looks like!

We shared a BBQ plates of 3 items. It was pretty good. The staff were nice there. Water is self serve. We also shared a flan for dessert after we walked. I ordered a coffee too. It can be confusing with the different stations having different operating times. For example the bakery was closed after 3 but the BBQ was still open and had dessert available. The coffee needed to be ordered and purchased at the bar. So I guess the name of the place is appropriate because you might have to "assemble" your meal from the different businesses within the one space.

Great concept! Finally a marketplace in this neighborhood. They have Rocky Island Oyster Co., Tommy’s BBQ Company, Brezo, and Riveter bar! Whatever you’re in the mood for they got it! Very casual but food and service are great! Highly recommend this place.

Not sure how the rating is so low with how good it was today. Do yourself a favor and order the vanilla scone. Can’t go wrong with anything else on the menu from what I could see of how everyone else’s looked and from what I tasted myself.

Great spot, great tri-tip sandwich and a great place for lunch when riding or hiking along the shoreline trail.

We ended up at Assemble on a rainy mid afternoon. At first we were bummed we'd loose brunch with a view of the Bay, but once we had food it as all ok.
I ordered the solid portion shrimp fried rice and perfectly seasoned fries (yes I was on a carb kick). The fries stick out to me because of how crunchy and well seasoned they were. I was able to sneak in a couple of bites of their salmon salad, my friend was having. Instant food envy. So fresh and light on the dressing.
Lastly we shared desert, an order the Crème brûlée and chocolate ice cream. I favored the chocolate ice cream, so creamy, tasty and homemade!

We had a great lunch here. It is located right on the water front, next to the Rosie the Riveter museum. The restaurant has a very industrial feel with a lot of the original machinery around the place. Their menu is not extensive but everyone should be able to find something to like. Their salads are very good and their hamburger was outstanding. They also had some nice wines, by the glass. The service was excellent. Try to get a high top table by the window, great view. I think they are only open for lunch.

Beautiful day for a walk by the Marina, and then brunch at Assemble. What a perfect way to nourish our growling tummies! My girlfriend and I both settled for the Crabby Salmon. The chicken and waffle was very tempting but we kept with the theme of keeping it healthy!
Great choice! It was delicious, salmon was juicy and cooked to perfection! The portion was just right. It left room for dessert, and of course we had to have the beignets! A little reward, why not! It was the cherry on top!

My brother and I drove 90 miles from the San Jose area to have breakfast (Shrimp and Grits). It was a bit of a drive, but, well worth it. Not only am I saying it's the best Shrimp and Grits I've ever had, but, my brother videoed me while polished off my SECOND BOWL! The wait staff was wonderful. And, shaking Chef P.J.'s hand was a highlight, also!

I really enjoyed your pot pie ( I liked this version much more than the old one). My fiancé enjoyed his Cobb salad too. PS:Please bring your fabulous key lime pie back, I will buy the whole pie for holiday. Service from the bartender was great too. We'll be back for brunch soon.

Love it that chicken pot pie and the garlic truffle french fries along with my sparkling wine was delicious

Just attended the Monthly cocktail class. What a fun evening as we learned how to make 3 delightful libations under the guidance of Aji, bartender extraordinaire. It was amazing how our small group of strangers came alive after the first cocktail experience. The small bites that accompanied each cocktail were paired perfectly. I would highly recommend this experience as a date night. Watch this page for future events. If you have not had an experience at Assemble, check out their lunch and dinner menus. great food at a terrific price and a view of the waterfront. If you are biking the on the richmond part of the bay trail during the weekend, check out their early morning coffee and snacks. Brunch on the weekends is one of our favorites. Assemble is now a goto place for us.
