Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

It's good for those hot days or the cold days you just want to be even colder. The only beef I have is when they give you the wrong type of cream in your cone. I don't know if this happens to anyone else but we have gotten whipped cream cones. Not Ice cream cones. Literally the whole cone filled with whipped cream. Whipped cream has a sponge look to it and tastes like a light cream flavor and the ice cream is more solid without the tiny holes forming all the way around it and has more of a vanilla taste to it.

Well burger had some grit in it and I broke my back upper tooth... 36 years old and not a cavity in that tooth. Hurts like H€)(. But besides the bloody mouth... Soda tasted watered down. Drive threw forgot wife's salad dressing. Did not get any catsup for fries... Not the best day. I try this spot once every couple years and well... I am not going back ever again.

Worst Dairy Queen to go to. Several times been there and my orders have been wrong. Went there tonight and got a snickers blizzard got Heath instead of snickers and tried to get a cotton candy blizzard and got plain vanilla ice cream. Yum right? Everybody wants what they ordered not what you all feel like making.

Well my wife and I went for our first ever Blizzards today. I got the Chery Choc Chip and she got the Caramel. Both were large. As we sat in line I read the picture of the Blizzard upside down and it said something about if it's not upside down the next one is free. The girl handed us our Blizzards right side up and as we drove off I said well I guess our next ones are free. My wife said if she had turned mine upside down it would have run out in the floor. So for $11 and change we basically got two milkshakes. Won't be back for any more blizzards. I could have bought 2 half gals of Blue Belle ice cream for the $11 they charged us.

The dining room is still closed 2 years after covid. The owners are using covid as the excuse to keep it closed so they save money on employees. The drive thru was VERY slow, the older woman taking orders was totally overwhelmed and had ZERO people skills. She was so bad we eventually drove away from the window in frustration without even getting our food. We went straight to the DQ in Berea where the dining room was open and the restaurant was fully staffed. What a difference a few miles makes!
