I ordered a catfish meal from the Richmond Kentucky location yesterday and everything except for the fries absolutely sucked! A lot of it was tasteless. No flavor!! The fish was also slimey inside. Never again will I go back there.

Purchased an order with fries and didn't receive the fries with the order (noticed only after I was home - pictured); when I called to ask for a refund, the manager (Eric or Erik) tried to give me an order of fries to come pick up, to which I replied that I wouldn't be back to the restaurant and asked why I couldn't just receive a refund instead - and then he said he didn't even have to offer me the fries at all and hung up on me. They wouldn't pick up when I called again (as I initially thought I had merely gotten disconnected) so I had to contact Captain D's customer service to discuss the issue. Fortunately customer service refunded me my payment. I will not deny that I was angry about not receiving a full order I paid for - however, I did ask why a refund could not be issued and was met with contempt, so considering the unprofessional decorum displayed by the manager I can safely say none of my immediate family in this area will be back to this restaurant. I only say thank you to their customer service for hearing me out and giving me a refund.

I asked the lady at the register for a new piece of fish because mine was not appealing as seen in the photo she asked the line cook for a fresh piece, he rolled his eyes and said old people. The young lady repeatedly tried to get the managers attention to no avail. I called him out on it unfortunately I had the whole restaurants attention but if the manager wasn't going to address him I was. Bad food and bad service
