Momotaro - Richmond - Photo album

My husband and I discovered Momotaro while walking around Carytown, and we decided to try it a couple of weeks ago. He's from NYC, so he's had a lot of good Japanese food over the years. We tried the miso soup first, and we immediately knew we'd found a gem of a place. Next we tried their Angie rol
My wife and I first ate at Momotaro about a week ago and we immediately fell in love with it! I've had a lot of Japanese food over the years and I still love all the food I've ordered so far. I don't frequently come across good miso soup, but their miso was so good that I was excited to try everythi
Came in at 630 on a Monday and grabbed appetizers (miso soup and ginger salad) which were great and then ordered a crazy dragon roll along with a volcano roll. Both came out in orderly time and tasted amazing. The service was quick and polite, never pushing to order or leave. Would come back anytime
Daughter and I love to try new sushi restaurants. We wanted to go down to Cary Street on a Saturday night to be able to walk around and check out some of the other stores. We had never been to Momotaro, so we thought we would give it a try. We were a tad worried since it was like 7pm on a Saturday
Small. Local. Not whitewashed like so many others. What else could you ask for in ambience? The food is delicious, the people friendly, and the atmosphere is quiet. I’ve had no problems with portions (and neither have my friends). You have to try the plum wine!
Stopped in for a quick bite, very tasty and the staff was courteous.

I’ve passed this spot a few times with my partner, but when we finally decided to go in and check it out it was when they were closed between service hours. The owner invited us in to dine anyway, and was super polite. We had the carytown and volcano rolls, along with the salmon and flying fish roe
Wow. I don't know what to say. My fiancee and I were strolling down Carytown. We passed by the restaurant at first and by the time we were ready to eat and walked back to the restaurant they were ten minutes past closing time for their lunch service. They saw us looking at their menu again and invit
my boyfriend and i shared four rolls and they were all so delicious! super affordable too, and the employees are sweet and gave great service. we will be back :)
I don't know what these people are talking about that didn't like it. It's friggin delicious! No I don't work for them or know anyone that works there I swear! I'm simply a customer that ordered off door dash and while reading bad reviews got nervous but I was beyond pleasantly surprised at how deli
