This food is delicious.and you can tell that's its freshly made and not something waiting to be order.Ms.kristine herself gives good customer service and having a conversation with her is just absolutely funny.she has alot more space in this location then her previous place(we shall not say the name)and I cant wait to see her and her business grow overtime.i highly recommend that you give her food a try you will not be disappointed.
Oh and for the money you get a great amount of food.how can you not love that.

Absolutely love Kristine’s, I appreciate the conversation held with owner regarding how she started her buisness and I never have a complaint when choosing Kristine’s for dinner. Food is always prepared with nothing but greatness!! Will come there often when I have Jamaican food for my tastebuds.

I loved the taste the spicy lever was on point Portion of the ox tail and curry chicken was smaller than normal go to spot and prices was $2 more then normal go to spot & there was lots of hard pieces of rice though out also curry sauce have lots of oil very oily and good ill definitely try again maybe it was a bad timing...

Curried goat, oxtail amazing. Mac and cheese done proper. Chicken patty perfectly spicy. A local cell phone shop recommend these folks for the oxtail and they did not disappoint. I read some of the reviews that service was rude. Absolutely not. But if you expect the auntie to come over to you and give you hugs and kisses then keep moving. Food is very good.

This place is a dive.. So - don't go in expecting beautiful decorations, or tableside service, or any kind of experience comparable to other restaurants. However, despite the sparse decor - the food is just wonderful. The cornbread is absolutely delicious ( We asked the proprietor what she puts in her cornbread, and she cheerfully responded " Lotsa Luv " - and we can taste it! ). You will not be disappointed!!

Best oxtail I've had in years. Didn't skimp on portions, falling off the bone, delicious gravy. Curry chicken was good too, not for you if you don't like it spicy. Kristine seemed very nice to me, people that are leaving reviews about bad customer service must need someone to be over the top cheesing and kissing butt.

Kristine’s food is absolutely delicious and quite yummy! She has to multitask taking orders by phone, and waiting on customers at the front, so she does not mean to be rude or discourteous to anyone!
She is very quiet and reserved which may be mistaken for being “unfriendly,” but this is not so at all! Her customer service is always patient and courteous!
Her food is excellent and tasty, and one of the best tasting Jamaican Restaurant in town!

Just happen to see it as I was running to food lion before work. I love Jamaican food so I thought I'd try it out. I ordered sm curry chicken cabbage rice and peas. It was delicious! Curry chicken is spicy, which I love spice. Plantains which I also love, we're not available, but maybe next time. I am definitely going back very soon!

First time trying this place with my girlfriend. I got the jerk chicken and she got the curry goat. Both were delicious and had a healthy amount of heat. The rice and peas and the cabbage was also amazing. Definitely coming back thank you!

I moved down from NYC and have been on the hunt for AUTHENTIC Jamaican food, not the Jamaican food that's compromised so much for the customer (You know the ones that complain about the Curry chicken being to spicy!) It's supposed to be! LOL
I ordered the Callaloo and saltfish w/dumpling & banana(hard to find in VA), Small Oxtail, Beef patty ,Small Curry goat & 2 drinks. I can say everything was very Delicious and flavorful! Kristine's daughter was very friendly as well. I think the only thing I would have to adjust to is she uses white rice instead of parboiled rice but that's a small ting. A Must try place for sure. =) Will be back
