The drinks and the atmosphere are wonderful. I have been going to this bar for several years and I ALWAYS enjoy myself.

Great place. Chill vibe. Cheap drinks. Decent food. And odd but friendly regulars. The owner is all about customer service so definitely recommended.

Okay so if you are looking to get drinks and have a good conversation, this is your place. This "whole in the wall" takes care of you and feels like a place out of a movie. Get drunk man/woman, have fun and enjoy

Don't kid yourself. You don't look amazing and you don't feel like dancing. Everyone here is in the same boat. Appreciate that for what it is. This is the place everyone comes to get away. If you're cool with that...you're cool. Come in.

The best dive bar on campus. Can't tell you how many nights got wild in there. The happy hour was the most legit on Thursdays.

You don't go to the Roxy for any single reason. There is better food, there are better drinks, there are places where every seat is occupied by people that could have been pulled from a magazine. The Roxy is unique. You go there because at the end of the night you have had a great time mingling with an eclectic group of genuine people. Be who you are, millionaire to street sign holder the interaction between normally non-interacting segments of society is not going to be duplicated anywhere else.

Visiting VCU and walked into this place by chance, as it is adjacent to campus... great location and nice selection of beer, and small crowd of folks...at 3pm on a random Friday. place felt like a local "Cheers" as patrons were dll known by staff. I felt at home.
