Great expirence over all, they advertised several beers on tap, but when we went, several were unavailable. However, the bar staff were quick to make recommendations for other similar beers. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very respectful to guests (even the ones who had a little too much to drink). The food was great, and we ended up spending hours here and a little over $100. I will recommend it to friends and I plan to come here again.

The steak egg rolls were the best I've had in a long time. The drinks were a hit or miss. Service was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Loved all the space. It was crowded, but we didn't feel like we were sitting on top of ppl.

Came with with a large group. Quickly sat and accommodated us. Another larger group was seated near us and they got really loud so it was hard to hear our own group. The waitress asked if we wanted to move which we obliged . The other table was celebrating a birthday and we didn't want to be a Karen about it. Food was amazing, mimosas special can't be beat. Love this place and will come back. People are great too!

Greeted upon arrival. Seated promptly. Waitress, I believe Alecia, was hard working & attentive. Went above & beyond to keep us satisfied. The food was so yummy. It's definitely a vibe. Indoor & outdoor seating.

Stopped in for dinner and drinks before going to a show at Altria Theater. Got there at 5:30 on a Thursday evening, the place was about 1/3 full. Good happy hour specials for both food and drink. A big selection of 2 for $10 appetizers that several of us ended up just ordering for the meal. I had a garden salad with grilled salmon added. It seems weird to review a salad but it was really delicious. Everyone else was also satisfied with the food. Drinks were pretty slow coming from the bar even though there were 3 bartenders working and mixed drinks seemed weak. The server was nice but also had tables out on the patio which made his job tough to be attentive in two places at once. With more and more restaurants in this area competing to serve the smallest, fanciest, most overpriced dishes, it's nice to have a place like this serving traditional favorites that a good tasting and fairly priced.

District 5 is one of the better places I've been to in Richmond it has a great atmosphere the food is surprisingly good for a bar! And the wait staff is second to none. Sunday funday football for brunch is excellent, especially if you are Cleveland browns fan they have a brown section to themselves that is a really good time!!

Had our twin girls Sweet 16 party in banquet room and the staff was so helpful and accommodating!! The manager Jordan made sure everything was perfect for us from decorating, arranging tables, to the music! Dave the chef kept food coming out the whole time and all of it was delicious! Highly recommend this venue!

Nashville chicken and waffles here was actually amazing and way better than I was expecting. My wife got the brisket mac and eggs which was also good but that waffle was 10/10 fire

I went on a Sunday to watch football. Best spot I've been to watch sports on TV in rva. They have organized signs per tv noting what games were on, I appreciate that. It was rowdy, loud, the food was good for bar food. I got the classic chicken tender and fries meal, the coleslaw was yummy. The people who work there have always been kind and pleasant to interact with. Unfortunately, the guy next to me was getting harassed by a blonde and her large friend with dread locks, who was inebriated. They seemed like regulars and everyone was tolerating their behavior. That experience killed the vibe for me. I also felt bad for the random dude next to me who was just trying to drink a beer and watch the game. Over all I like D5, it's really a hit or miss when you go.

Great happy hour specials. The food is pretty good as well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good deal and some good drinks and food. The service is also exceptional as well.

It was my first time here, but it will not be my last. Even my picky earing husband enjoyed his burger. I ordered chicken and beef sliders, which were made to perfection. Our server was very attentive and he had a great personality. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

On 3 occasions I was disappointed with the service here. The 1st time wasn't as bad. The bartender was just not very attentive. On the 2nd visit, the bartender constantly avoided us. He walked pass us repeatedly and literally looked over us even though we were sitting right in his face & calling his name. The food is awesome though so we decided to try once more... Today we were seated at a table off to the side away from everyone although there were seats available in the main seating area. Several servers walked by and eventually one asked had we been served. She brought us water & said she'd find out who our server was. Finally our server came (one who had walked pass our table 3 times). She asked were we just going to do the buffet. My sister asked what was on the buffet. She sighed & started naming food choices as if we were a bother. We said no thank you, we'd like to choose from the menu instead but her attitude was so poor we left. 3 strikes & you're out. Won't get anymore business from me.

This place is great! The beer selection is outstanding and they even had a hard to find favorite of mine. Go before 7:00 and take advantage of the happy hour prices. The food was above average, served hot and quickly by a friendly and service oriented waitstaff. I didn't use the bathroom, or go in the kitchen, but the dining room was clean and well lit. There is even a parking lot (a rare thing in the fan) for far westenders who can't parallel park. The menu has something for everyone.

Buffet not ready (had to wait 30 min before buffet even opened), raw food, fruit soured, poor service. Last year was fantastic after this year I don't know that I would ever go back or recommend.

Place is great and the atmosphere is fun. My only request is that you have a more "straight to the point" list for the dress code. Like everyone else we were denied entry for one of my friends not wearing proper shoes.

The food was great! Made from scratch macaroni and cheese and fresh collard greens! The waitress was extra friendly and professional! Definitely recommend it for a date night or for any occasion!!

Dish 1: They serve a jambalaya here that is proclaimed to tomato based but taste like a queso cheese sauce. The chicken in it was reheated, and the sausage had a funny taste.
Dish 2: I found a piece of glass in my mashed potatoes.
I believe 2 stars is generous. Highly disappointed.

Their Sunday Brunch is one of the best in Richmond....I do wish their Sausage Gravy was just plain ole Southern Sausage Gravy but other than that, they have it all! Then the Magnum Mimosas with 3 juices....AMAZING!! My fav place to go with friends and hang out on the patio for Sunday Funday! Football inside and patio out....perfect combination!!

Great atmosphere...food and service both good. The only complaint i would have is that they had no limes for my vodka soda (who doesn't have limes??), but the bartender was very apologetic and did her best to accommodate me. I'll definitely be back!

Went here for brunch. The food was good but the service was terrible. The hostess was sweet and helped as much as she could. We had 2 waiters and hardly saw them. Had to go to the bar to refill water twice. Maybe dinner service is better.....

The Brunch was good and the multiple screens for watching all the football was great. The music by the DJ was a little too loud. It made talking about the game or just talking during your meal difficult. I will go again.

This place should be ashamed to be run by a manager as thoughtless and lewd as "Mikey." Saying that he wishes death upon those that are clearly less fortunate than his appallingly-inconsiderate self, is not only disgusting, but a complete and total reflection of his character. The people you spend time around soon become who you are, therefore District 5 will now be a place that myself and all of my friends will stay far, far from. Consider firing this man, because until then, I'll take my business elsewhere.

My friends and I don't even attempt to go to district 5 anymore the first summer they opened it was pretty cool it was a nice place to hang out.
Then it all changed, they starting telling my group of friends we couldn't get in due to the dress code making asinine excuses like your shorts are too long or our shirts were too baggy even though we wore khaki shorts and our shirts were tucked in.
All this as we witnessed first hand the security guard let a non minority patron in with no problem even though he had on shorts, flip flops and a tank top. At that point I knew it wasn't because of our clothes it was because of our skin. My money is green just like his was and it will spend perfectly fine elsewhere. Society is pretty much a carbon copy of D5 incase anyone was wondering.
