Carytown Sushi - Richmond - Photo album

My daughter and I are obsessed with CSush (as we lovingly dubbed it)! The vegetarian sushi is outstanding- we try to eat here as much as possible. The vegetable tempura roll is to die for. Our favorite server is so cool- she makes us feel like VIPs and we adore her! Absolutely THE BEST SUSHI IN RICH
Omg this sushi is phenomenal. My wife and i split x2 avacado rolls, 1 rage roll and 1 volcano roll. They were all the bomb. Great place to beat the heat.
Wonderful! I made a mistake and ordered my food for carry out almost an hour too late. I showed up at the time I had intended to pick it up and explained the problem, and they immediate set to work preparing it for me and had it ready within 15 minutes. Amazing! Very kind, very talented chef and
Top experience. Granted, I miss the moody atmosphere of the old spot, but the fresh decor comes with some of the freshest fish I've had in Richmond. The platter meals are generous and varied, with each piece more buttery and satisfying than the last. Their spicy tuna roll has no right tasting as goo
best cut of nigiri/sushi i’ve had in a while. i went here on a saturday night and lucky for us it wasn’t too crowded. the specialty rolls were good but the highlight of the meal was definitely the sushi. the cut of fish was thick and fresh. you don’t find many places that do that anymore so 5/5 for
This lovely little restaurant sits right at the beginning of carytown, the end closest to the fan in Richmond , Va. My partner and I loved the atmosphere and it was nice and comfortable despite it being around 20 degrees outside. The space is a little small and there only is space for one party to
Great spot, great food, and friendly service. We enjoyed the miso soup, seaweed salad, edamame and a few rolls. Would love to come back again and try some more, the menu is extensive.
Very small establishment, but the service was very quick. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to help us select wonderful rolls and entrees. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Ramon noodles have lots of flavor and made just right. Tempora had a little too much batter for m
I've eaten sushi on the east and west coast, in Japan and South Korea, and this is still one of the best sushi spots I've ever been to
Nice little spot, the door looks sketchy but please step in, it's worth it! I've been a few times and love popping in for the good lunch deals (3 sushi rolls for the price of 2? Yes please!). Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick bite. Only thing I don't recommend is the Martini haha
Cute little sushi shop in the heart of Carytown. Their prices are very reasonable and you get decent quality sushi. In good weather their entire front wall opens up to the sidewalk.
Best sushi I've had in Richmond. Very reasonably priced. I had the Rock n Roll and Dragon roll, both were great.
Pretty good sushi place. I had the Virginia roll liked it a lot. Wife had the ocean roll and soft shell crab. She liked both. We lived in Japan for a few years so our sushi standards are pretty high. Would recommend.
Good quality food served by friendly staff. I went there during happy hour, when sushi was 50% off. It was crowded like hell, since the restaurant is rather small. I even had to wait for a table for about 30 minutes. So better reserve for happy hour. Very nice though: they write down your name while
As a lover of sushi, I had to try out Carytown Sushi and see what all the hype was about. The interior is gorgeous and has a very minimal and calm vibe. It seems like they aim for traditional with a modern twist. This transfers directly to their menu as well. While they do have all of the classics,
Excellent sushi spot! Great vibe and 1/2 select rolls on Tuesdays & Wednesday’s!!! I am NOT a vegetarian but excellent vegetarian rolls
My go to sushi in Richmond. Competent & efficient servers, wee & comfortable atmosphere and great , fairly priced sushi.
sushi here is pretty tasty for a decent price! i got a rainbow roll and a shrimp tempura roll and they were both good. fish maybe seemed not as fresh as some other places i’ve had around here but good nonetheless.
