This is one of my favorite cupcake shops and I'm surprised more people don't agree. All the cupcakes have the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness, and the texture is perfect for me. They have always been moist and never dry. The banana pudding cupcake is my favorite, it's just heavenly. The macarons are very yummy as well (the pistachio flavor is always my favorite).
I would love to see even more cupcake flavors come out in the future! A recommendation is lavender earl grey tea.
Mo's was my go to place while at VCU and I miss my multiple trips on those stressful weeks. The banana pudding is amazing as well as the banana pudding cupcake!! Also tried most of the other flavors including the gluten free (Special ordered for my grandmother) and never had a bad one. Amazingly friendly owner and staff who let me order way too many cupcakes on short notice more than once and always had them ready on time.
Not the best in the world but certainly not the worst. My strawberry mini cupcake was moist and the topping tasted fresh. The macaroon I had was also worth having again. Glad this place is on campus, and hope they bring in some less-common flavors soon. Maybe a mint watermelon for summer or ginger spice for fall? 😛😋🧁🍪
Anytime I am in Richmond, I always make sure to stop by Mo's for a mouth full of joy. On my most recent visit I tried the strawberry, banana pudding, red velvet and carrot cake. They were all moist and tasty but the carrot cake and the red velvet were the standouts. The icing is creamy, the cake part is moist and its really hard not to eat them all in one sitting!
It’s a delicious taste and good price price. I tried in my travel way in my break. I loved it. Deserve to take a rest in this place and enjoying with good sweetness. As well, the service is amazing
The team at Mo's provided the most delicious mini cupcakes and macarons for my son's graduation celebration. The variety of cupcakes offered something for everyone. My son loves macarons, and he said the ones from Mo's are now his favorite - better than all the others he has tried. The cupcakes and macarons were the perfect sized treats for our party. We highly recommend them!
Fresh and not too sweet! The cookies and cream is my fav!! The berries/strawberry was fruity and fresh. Both minis were fresh!! I will return in the future
I purchased cupcakes for Father's Day weekend, and was told they'd be ready Saturday by noon walked in the door and she handed it to me and they were still hot. Dad loved them
I stopped in on a whim looking for a treat. The woman behind the counter was very sweet and helpful, and I got two macarons and a cupcake! All of them were delicious, the macarons had a great crunch and unique flavors. I spent about 6 dollars for the small cupcake and cookies, but it was absolutely worth it. Definitely a must try!
I had the pleasure of ordering a blue velvet 💙 cake for my son's graduation. It was awesome, my family loved it!! My son asked "who ate his last piece of cake," I was so guilty🙋🏾♀️. The cake was so moist, delicious and different and you can taste the authentic butter in the recipe, all the reasons I will return. ❤️
