Bocata Latin Grill - Richmond - Photo album

We came for arepas and they were amazing. Order at the register, straightforward menu. Food didn’t take long to come out, even though it was pretty busy. Standard sized lobby, pick your own seating, clean overall. Excellent experience, food, and service. Will be back again, highly recommended.
Food here was amazing! Came from the west coast and was glad to find this gem. Some places ask you to leave a review so I'm skeptical to believe in the reviews. Know that I'm not leaving this review because I was asked to do so... the food here is simply that good. I came to Richmond on a business t
From the outside, doesn't look like much. However, the great tasting food and friendly service completely offset the outward appearance. Walked up and he handed us a menu. Very nice, patiently answered my questions and made some good recommendations. I had the hamburguesa. My wife had the Nacho
I lost a bet and had to pay for dinner with my wife so of course she picks here. Turns out its actually phenomenal food and the guy working the front was really cool. Not the cheapest but definitely good eats. Even won some awards for their burger which you might be able to see in the background of
Amazing food! If you're looking for something not only different but delicious, this is the spot! That emapanada... crispy outside and juicy inside! The patacon is an explosion of flavors! 3 meats, grilles cheese, coleslaw and all those sauces!! Food heaven! This is not fast food so don't expect to
The food and service is always great! My favorite spot for Venezuelan food. Bocata is a small restaurant, but it's very clean and well maintained. They offer many traditional dishes at a moderate price!
Oh man. I had heard of this restaurant a month or two ago but kept putting it off because it seemed to be not really near much. On a Saturday where we didn't have much else to do, we decided to make the drive down. We got the nachos, and two arepas (pabellon and llarena) and everything was so delici
Food is always amazing and perfectly seasoned. My favorite dishes are the parrilla and pescado frito. Had the Bocata nachos this time.
The food here is out of this world. Not fancy at all from the outside of the restaurant but five star food. I reccomend anyone wanting to eat latin food should go here.
Glad we visited this Venezuelan restaurant. Food was great. I got the Traditional plate. This restaurant was recognized in the 2017 Richmond magazine as a must visit and it didnt disappoint.
Best traditional Venezuelan food in the area. One of the best hamburgers I’ve tasted in my life. Wholeheartedly recommend this place.
Service was friendly and pretty fast , came in on lunch and still had time to spare. Good food , comfy casual place.
Delicious burger and fries. Extraordinary customer service. Highly recommend it!
Just go. Kind of place you order at the counter then they bring the delicious and amazing food! I wish they served freshly made iced tea not just bottled drinks though.
Interesting food. Although, the plate was pricier than expected ($15 for Pabellón in photo below)
The food was amazing!!! I got the traditional dish - Pabellon: shredded beef, rice, black beans, cheese, plantains, avocado, and a fried egg. The flavors were perfect together and not spicy, which was great for me. The service was friendly. They took our order at the front counter. Our food came out
Loved it! The outside is strip it's in doesn't do it justice but on the inside, the place looks clean, staff in the kitchen were wearing gloves (after my very own germaphobe heart!), and the food was delicious!!! Fresh quality food even though I arrived within 15 minutes of closing. I purchased the
Great food, even our three kids enjoyed their food. We tried the domino empanadas, the hamburguesa and the bocata nachos. All wonderful. Food took about 15 minutes to get after ordering, so you know it's fresh. The fries were really good, too. Lots of texture and flavor. Very good with their c
I love trying new places and read about Bocata in Richmond magazine's restaurant listings. It's a casual order-at-the-counter place where you can either sit to eat or take-out. It was busy on a Sunday evening. Everyone else in line knew what they wanted but the man behind the counter was very help
