I went there for a quick lunch. One of my friend has been recommending me to go there for awhile now. I got a traditional rice bowl in a hot clay pot with pork and fried egg. I should have gotten a boiled egg but I thought a boiled egg is something you boiled in water and not sunny side up. The only thing I would like to see different is giving away kimchi for free. I mean,what is Korean dish without kimchi and paying it as a side dish is little bit too much. You can go to Korean Garden on the same St and get the lunch menu for similar price and all the free side dishes.

Wow! Just wow. I have passed by this place hundreds of times. I always assumed it was another yogurt place. (Don't ask. No idea why I thought that) To my complete surprise and joy it is an excellent Korean eatery. Amazing! Very friendly as well. I went in less than ten minutes before close. I am that guy. I expected and would have accepted rushed service and crass attitudes but not at all. Smiles and patience. That's what I received. I then simply stated, "Sorry. This is my first time here. " The woman helping me lit up and went on to explain everything to me. I decided on the skillet with Brown rice and spicy pork. I am soooooooo eating there again. Thank you Gogi!

Spent a year and change in Korea with the Army, since I've been back I've been craving a lot off the street food and quick, cheap lunch places I used to frequent. Had a few disappointing attempts to find a good sit down restaurant, but this is the first place in RVA to scratch the itch. Really reminded me of some of the small lunch counter places I used to love, right down to the chilsung cider.

Very good, fresh tasting Bibimbap. I've been looking for a place in the Richmond area to get a nice, hot pot bibimbap (dolsat bibimbap). This is the place! It's set up like a Quick Serve Restaurant where you pick your style, meat and ingredients and they make it for you and then bring it out. Food tastes very fresh and prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is very casual.

Great food, great service, exceeded my expectations!. This place is awesome! The food is very fresh, perfectly seasoned and delicious. I ordered the beef bulgogi bibimbap so that I could remove the beef and feed it to my son ( I am vegetarian ) and have the veggies for myself . The employee who took my order was so kind to give me a seperate bowl for my son's beef which I found very helpful. After scarfing down the entire [very large] bowl of bibimbap, I found myself craving more and more despite the misery of my full stomach. My son was truly devastated once he finished his beef and veggies, and the manager caught onto this and brought over an extra helping of beef for him. He says his reason was because he enjoys watching kids try new foods. This was such a kind gesture and left a lasting impression on me. I already cannot wait to go back for more! I'm lucky it is such a short distance from home :)

Very good! It was my first time eating bibimbap and this place was excellent. Fresh ingredients, tasty meat, and good portions. Workers were very kind and helpful to a newbie. Spicy pork was wonderful.
