Decor was awesome and the place had a really good vibe. No complaints about the food, flavor and portion sizes were good.
Good drink selection of beer, wine, and liquor. Though for beer they only had bottles, nothing on draft if that matters to you.
We had our rehearsal dinner here for our wedding. The planning was very easy, Daniel was responsive on what was available for food and drink (expansive options for both) as well as the settings for the actual dinner. The ambiance was fantastic, and the place settings, along with candles looked very nice. The drinks were perfect, and the bartender was top notch, she was swamped all night but was polite, fast and very attentive. The small bites and desserts were fantastic as well.
The PA system didn't work well, however the space is small so that wasn't a massive issue.
Unfortunately we opted for a plated dinner. I don't know if it was a one off or a reoccurring event but our dinners were late out to our guests, and the time between arrivals varied by up to 30 minutes such that many were done eating before others got their dinner. I would opt for the buffet to mitigate the risk of it happening again.
Aside from the plated dinner and PA issues, the space was perfect, the planning easy, and the servers/bartenders professional. We had our wedding at Main Street station, so it was a very convenient location. Would recommend to anyone!
Picked this restaurant because I'm on the search for paella. Enjoyed Kuba Kuba's version very much. But it was take-out. We ate here for the experience of eating in. We sat inside because of the heat. The ambiance was nice. Our waitress Caro was pleasant. Service was excellent. I saw that some reviews complained about that, but we went early. Was able to enjoy happy hour sangria and husband had their mojito. Both excellent. The paella for 2 came out fairly quickly. Caro said they have it partially ready for each evening. The seafood was cooked to perfection. The only negative thought on it is maybe less oil. Otherwise, very enjoyable.
Great Cuban restaurant with outdoor seating, excellent bar and cigars. The calamari was light and tender and served with tomatillo sauce. The Cuban sandwich was awesome.
First time at Havana 59. We loved it. Food was spectacular. Service was great. The Mojitos were delicious. Can't wait to go back.
The food here is good. The ambiance is nice and the establishment is located in a very active and happening area. There is a smoking section of the restaurant as well. The service was friendly. After eating, patrons can grab a drink, enjoy a cigar, and take in the lively environment in the smoking section or the outdoor seating area.
Visited this restaurant for a quick girls night out. The service was good. We were seated quickly. The waitress was very attentive to us despite the restaurant being pretty full. The food was seasoned well and came in a good amount of time. The night was a good temperature so the windows were open. Which was an added bonus.
Food is great, drinks are great, and an awesome place to hangout for happy hour while smoking a cigar. I’m not sure when, but the happy hour food menu has shrunk to just one item.
We visited the restaurant on Friday eve and it was lovely and lively with Cuban vibe. Ordered couple of their specialty cocktails and they did their job well. Their menu is not very vegetarian friendly but still staff managed to get us 3-4 appetizers which were delicious. Cuban style nachos and Spanish pizza were a hit and also the dip served with sweet potato fries.. The decor of restaurant with palm trees and ceiling fans tries to give life to Cuban vibe.
Last night we dine in and Salsa at Havana 59 is the food was ok. We had the ceviche, empanadas, pei muscles, ropa vieja and dance all night. The mojito were good and the vibe was good. Great place to go dance some Salsa on the top floor and hand out with friends.
