Wonderful experience at Mellow Mushroom in Richmond!
My pizza was delicious. I ordered the pepperoni and Italian sausage. My daughter ordered the buffalo chicken (the price of this pizza was $10 more than the one I ordered). My husband commented that the buffalo chicken pizza wasn’t worth the price

I normally get the veg out pizza with vegan cheese BUT today I found out you can get tofu and tempeh on pizza!
I got a customized pizza with; vegan cheese(make sure they cook the cheese well done), roasted tomatoes, green peppers, basil and bbq tempeh. If you are vegan ask them to remove the parmesa
We always enjoy finding a new (to us) Mellow Mushroom. We tried the meatballs and pretzel bites for the first time on our visit to this one; and they were as fantastic as the pizza.

This place is amazing! The staff is super friendly and funny, and the food was amazing! The service was a little slow. The music taste in here is also just another great part of the restaurant. Would definitely recommend!
1st off the atmosphere was lovely, and mellow. It instantly put me in a great mood. Our waiter was great. The Buffalo wings and mighty meaty pizza was delicious. Everything came out freshly made. I will be returning to try other menu items.
The pizza was delicious! We had a large, House Special on thin crust. There were four of us eating, the large yielded 8 slices, and along with a side salad it was a great meal. Will be back if I'm in Carytown again.
A little after 5 and it was almost deserted. We ordered one of the Local favorites and it got to the table, piping hot, very quickly. It was delicious! Our waiter was great and attentive. It was a little chilly but otherwise we were very pleased.
While this is a chain, all Mellow Mushrooms have a speciality pie unique to the location and this one has the best pizza I have ever had in my life. The Maui Waui. Banana Pepper, Pineapple, Bacon, and Jerk Chicken. On a basil pesto base.

One of my favorite Mellow Mushroom locations. I love the decor. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I absolutely loved the buffalo chicken dip, really good!
Great place for people with dietary restrictions & individualized dishes. They have unique & superb pizzas, hoagies & salads. The service was a little slow, but hey, the word mellow in their name fits!
The inside is amazing. So many neat things to look at with amazing art everywhere. I had the gluten free dairy free pizza option and it was good. I should have added extra sauce, but still a great experience.
Always a good place to swing by. Cool decor and big draft selection. Pizza is always good. I always get the Maui that has jerk chicken with ham and pineapple.
You must try the Mushroom soup! The pizza was excellent and a small one looks really small but definitely filling. I've never had a bad meal at any Mellow Mushroom, and if there's anyplace worth eating the crust, it's here! I love how they're all independently decorated to reflect the local culture and retain a laid back, chill vibe.
