Wow truly authentic Egyptian cuisine. We tried many of their entrees - the oven-baked penne pasta, hawawshi beef sandwiches, lamb and rice fattah, shish tawook with lettuce, and koosherie (lentil rice medley). Everything tasted great and was a very nice portion. The oven-baked penna pasta, hawawshi beef sandwiches, and koosherie (lentil rice medley) were my favorite. We also tried their oum ali dessert and it was superb. Extremely pleasant customer service, and very welcoming and pleasant dining atmosphere. Reasonable prices too.

For those of you from Egypt, eating this food will be nostalgic. It is definitely authentic and delicious.
It looks to be a family establishment and is not large but there are enough tables, chairs, and places to charge, to sit and comfortably enjoy your food.
If you aren't from Egypt and are just looking to try something different, you are in for a real treat...they have meat pies (hawawshi) to stuffed cabbage (mashi) to the infamous Egyptian vegan dish, koshari, which is made of layers of rice, chick peas, pasta, the best koshari (similar to marinara) sauce, and fried onions to top it off. Trust me, it's wonderful.
If you come for breakfast, get the bistarma and ba'ad (Egyptian pastrami and eggs) which is a staple in Egypt, and anytime of the day, get the fried eggplant, it's our favorite side.
The desserts are rice pudding and Oum Ali, which is the Egyptian version of bread pudding, and is served hot & it's also enough to share, but you wouldn't want to.

I was randomly browsing around the Richardson Neighborhood and notice this new Place Called Mubrooka Egyptian Street food.
Well, street food and I have a long lasting bonding, so I decided to stop by. It was very neat and clean newly built restaurant. Ordered Small Shish Tawook Sandwich just to get a taste of food here. And I must say it was very juicy and flavorful.
Picture below is actually without bun and if you are planning to stop by Make sure you ask them to make it Spicy. It will feel good on our Desi taste buds otherwise you will feel it is below mild.
Check out the pictures below.. it has entrance from the both sides of the building. Plenty of parkings, right next to Anytime Fitness.
I am eager to try their Beef items.

If you never tried Egyptian food before this is an excellent place to go! We ordered Kushari, Tameya (Egyptian version of Falafel), Hawawshi, and Um Ali (desert). Descent food, good price! And the best thing is the Egyptian musics playing Um Kalthoom's voice, takes you back to Egypt! :) I really enjoyed it and can't wait for my next visit to try other options!

First time eating Egyptian food and really enjoyed it! The shish tawook platter was juicy and flavorful. You can choose either rice or lettuce, and an optional side. The sauce it comes with is to-die-for, it was so delicious that we asked for more. It was great drizzled on top of the chicken or even as a dip with fries.
The hawawshi sandwich was quite spicy, and I always appreciate anything deep fried. It was good, but I think I love the shish tawook more than this. Definitely ordering it again.
We had the pleasure of being served by the owner's young daughter- too adorable! Great ambiance and wonderful customer service!

Ordered the famous Koshari and the Hawashi. Food was out promptly and owner checked on my several times. Koshari was very flavorful. Don’t forget to douse it with garlic sauce and the red pepper sauce. Overall it was great. Will come back for sure.

The Um Ali was amazing, some of the food was salty, and some needed salt. The hot sauce wasnt my favorite for this type of dish. But flavors were amazing, new restaurant still figuring out how to cater to everyone.
