Best BBQ in the area and may be the best BBQ I've ever had! My girlfriend and I had an excellent meal here and really loved every piece of it. Also, Christiana was an incredible server and bartender. She was so kind and attentive even while they were fully booked and did it all with a smile. Highly recommended!
Stopped in for lunch while passing through Rhinebeck. I am 20000% sure that was the best Brisket I have ever had in my entire life.
We shared the Brisket and the Pastrami sandwich and both were unbelievably good. the sweet potato fries blew my mind as well. The worst thing we had were the seasoned fries and even they were delicious.

Friendly staff, interior is finely decorated with many pictures on the wall of the US Navy, Army and etc. I had the Rodeo sandwich which was a nice chunk of end round brisket and did it exceed expectations. 5 Star for sure, do not leave town without trying Smoky Rock BBQ
Delicious food. I had pulled chicken with wonderful baked beans with beef and great homemade corn bread. My daughter had mac and cheese and chicken fingers. I tasted them. Top shelf.. One of the great things about this place is they have outdoor heated enclosed pods for each table. Freezing outside, warm inside. Was safe and delightful.
We love Smoky Rock! Great food, large portions and great people. This is a family run business, they are fully invested and awesome. From outdoor covid safe individual pods to indoor dining, they're ready. Many nights we're surprised with complimentary soup, the gumbo is my favorite. I order the half chicken with sweet potato fries and slaw. I love the pita too. My husband has tried it all and loves it all. I love their baby back ribs. The desserts are delicious, if you have room left! Enjoy!
Happened across this place after visiting FDR home and library. Definitely an excellent find. The food and service were outstanding. Delicious collard greens, Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Both the blue cheese and chipotle Cole slaw were yummy. They also has several NY craft beers on tap which is always nice. I would recommend this place highly.
Oh my gosh!!! This place is where you go to If you want to go into a food coma!!! Its so good, everytime. You know how a restaurant will have that " off" day, not this place... honestly write your will before you go because you might die a very full and very happy person here the ribs are like heaven! The staff is amazing, I think our waitresses name was Katherine she was sweet and easy to talk to. The owner and his wife and daughter great customer service!!! The drinks were awesome too!!!
Everything was absolutely 💯 delicious. Service was great. We sat outside in one of the pods. We took our doggie with us. They served him a bowl of water. This was our second time there. The servings are plentiful. Yes, you will have leftover.
