Great fast drive thru service and hot fresh food everytime. This the only McDonald’s I never have a problem with.

I go to this location often since it's convenient for us, and I usually do carry out. The food is typical for McD. The service is so-so - employees are kind of cold - just silently hand you your food after calling your number, not a "thank you" or "enjoy" or anything. I know this ain't Chick Fil A but still, a little customer service can go a long way, especially given all the bad reviews they've been getting. But they get the food out quick so I give them 4 stars.
The mcRib was kind of disappointing though, which prompted me to write this review. There was not enough BBQ sauce so it was kind of dry. I would have liked more onions too. See photos.

It's a McDonald's, but a good one. Clean and efficient. However, always check you got the syrup if order pancakes. They are Very busy. If you get the premium coffee early in morning, it's good. I use the app which makes it affordable and quick. Large premium coffee is $1. Often get breakfast McMuffins 2 for price of one. I am old woman so the McChicken is just right for me. Here the crispy McChicken is as good as pricey Chick fil A. However, I throw away the bun and have it with a side salad.

Closest to work. I stop by most often for coffee before work. I generally do curbside pickup. The staff I've met are friendly and remember me! The food is typical.. the service is excellent. They always get my customized hot Mocha correct.

Manager treats customer amid computer crisis.
This morning while I was at the drive thru kiosk to get my mobile order, the store's app crashed. They had me pull forward to the window where they made several failed attempts to determine my order. There were trainees at every station, clearly high schoolers just starting their first summer job. After trainees handed me the wrong food twice, I went inside to address the manager. He apologized and explained that their computer had crashed and the store was full of new employees (all of which was obvious) but that he would take care of my order. Although the store had already changed over for lunch, he had my breakfast order made special. He brought it out hot and delicious. He simultaneously tended to several other customers in my same situation. Thank you to the attentive manager on Sunday Morning 11 June at the McDonald's on Roger Bacon Drive.

This is your standard McDonald's but a little bit nicer. I went inside and used an order kiosk. Friendly staff and food was hot and fresh. It won't blow you away but this is about as nice of a McDonald's as you'll find in the area.

Updated review post-remodel:
Although, historically speaking, this location has been one of the best run McDonald's I've ever been to, I feel like the remodel has now made things worse. The counter was made significantly smaller with a lot of the space wasted. They did away with the refilling station that also had napkins and condiments and straws. Also, the dual drive-thru has actually created more congestion and as such, wait times have at least doubled on average.
Edit: Today, the drive-thru line spilled out onto the main street, despite having dual ordering lanes.
Most of these remodels make zero logistical sense. We'll see how this location will fair in the long-term after the remodel, but so far, it has actually hindered things. Deducted one star from my previous review.
