We just had our wedding reception here last week. There was a lot of miscommunication between the owner (who we finalized the contract with) and the kitchen manager Van (who we started the contract with, also the owner's sister according to her). Van originally told us on June 2017 when we tried out the food that if we pay with cash they would waive sales tax for us. However, on May 2018 when we finalized the contract with the owner, she denied anyone saying such thing. That was the first hiccup because now we are looking at coming up with more money. On the contract, it also stated that there will be projector and screen available for us. None of it was provided. Before the wedding date, we made sure to email the owner the liquor license. However on the wedding date, the kitchen manager Van told us there is no liquor license available for them. On the wedding date, we (the wedding party) were told by the owner to come 2 hours early before the reception time to have dinner before guests arrived. We arrived at 4PM because our reception started at 6. When we got there, the kitchen manager Van was surprised to why we were there asking about dinner. Clearly, the owner never told her that we were coming. After talking back and forth for awhile, Van had someone set up a table for us across from the gift/checkin table. 15 minutes before the reception time, they started serving food! I told them to stop because guests are arriving and it looked ridiculous that we were sitting there eating our lobsters by hands (especially me in my wedding dress) when guests started showing up and wanted to take pictures with us--bride and groom. But Van told me, "I'll just leave the food, eat it when you want". What kind of customer service is this? On top of that, they panicked us by telling us there was no ice and that we needed to go buy some now. Then 10 minutes later told us that it was a miscommunication and that they actually had ice. During our wedding, there were STRANGERS walking in and out to check out the party and see how the restaurant sets things up. I was told by the owner that we could lock the bridal room to keep our stuffs safe but then when we locked it, Van showed obvious annoyance when coming to unlock it for us. If you want a piece of mind on your wedding date, please think again about booking this place for your reception. Very rude and unprofessional customer service handling. no communication between the people in charge.

A party of 3 and a child, we waited for ten minutes, and they seated a party of 8 and 3 parties of 4 who all arrived after us. Since i was a minority there it almost made it seem like that was the reason why. When we finally sat down they had run out of most of thier selection. I want my various pork buns! They had none.
