Update 5/27: Had someone from the main corporate office reach out about the unfortunate past experiences with management and food quality. He was very thorough and understanding and did not tell me I was wrong and genuinely wanted to change my experience. Hopefully they’re able to make some changes with the Reno location, as I know many people other than me are hoping for. I’ll be updating in a few more days or removing this review. The stars I did give were for the fantastic customer service from the corporate office. Update 5/26: Received a response from the management of this location. It was very blunt and rude, and he was quick to tell me I was incorrect in the food quality because they already had an inspector come out. How can anyone expect to trust this location when the quality is only higher on inspection days? I wish I could leave zero stars. 5/23: I have not heard anything back or received a response from the person in management who emailed me initially. They pretty much dismissed the issue and said “I’m sorry you found an ant in your salad, but we already take sanitary precautions” Initial review: This food is unclean, unsafe, and is filled with fungus gnats. Health inspector needs to come by this place asap before anyone gets sick. *Found bugs in lettuce of my salad and lettuce was rotting. Stay away from this location.

I gave this place a shot and was impressed. It’s kind of a Socal goes to Nevada vibe in here. Typical counter service, but it has a wide selection of toppings and add ons. The staff is very friendly. The only place I would improve is the weird kind of signs they have posted all over. And the food is quite good. The dining room is expansive, and they have a room where all the windows can slide open, but the windows close in the winter. Decor is bright and colorful.

Quality and freshness of the food is fantastic. All the ingredients taste fresh and the portion sizes are more than satisfying. We got chips and guac, which were both very tasty and the shrimp enchiladas which were fantastic. I dropped one star because the service wasn’t very friendly or helpful and the system of ordering/paying for food was not smooth at all. We ordered them and were given no guidance on what happened after that because some of the other food works in the typical line service format where you build it and pay right away. We went and stood to pay and waited there for a very long time while other people paid before us. So I think because of the variety of food they offer and differing cook times it creates kinks in the system. The woman we ordered from was also not very friendly and we could barely hear anything she was saying. But again, very great and fresh food.

The last we came here (around 2 months ago in December) the employees were great, the servings were good for the price, and I would of gave it 5 stars but now there is a whole new staff and there is less portion sizes while still the same price and it's gotten slower. I would not recommend this place if you don't want to spend a lot of money for not alot of food.

My experience here has always been great food and good service. They use all natural and fresh ingredients in their food, and you ca really taste the difference! The chips and guacamole is a great value and the guacamole is definitely fresh. We got some shrimp enchiladas and agreed they were also very fresh. One thing that bothers me is I feel uncomfortable throughout the ordering process. It’s like there is something missing, you’re not sure what you’re waiting for, what the next step is, if this works like a chipotle or not?! They might consider something like simple directions on how this place works, just a thought.
