Try the thin crust. We've enjoyed Pirates for years. They have one of the more authentic pizza sauces - not the "too sweet" type you get in many places. Their thin crust is a nice, chewy crust...20 years ago it would have been considered "thick.". I've never tried the thick crust, which looks way too doughy for my taste.
Other places in Reno may make better lasagna, though theirs is tasty. Not often you can get Greek specialties at a pizza place. Having enjoyed several of them. We've always had pleasant servers. The food is made fresh, so it takes longer than at some places.
There are great stuffed pizzas here. Definitely has the best calzones in town.
I had a medium thin crust, half cheese half pep and sausage, mozzarella sticks, fries, cheese bread with sauce, mild wings and hot wings. I don't mind the grease on the pizza, the wings are fantastic like always, I didn't care so much for the fries and cheese bread with sauce. The mozzarella sticks we're good. The highlight was definitely the pizza and wings.
Friendly staff and nice size portions for the lunch special. We had never been here before so we weren't sure how big a mini pizza or mini calzone would be but they were quite generous in size and definitely filling.
Friendly service Leslie was cool to talk too. I ordered A mushroom pepperoni olive pizza thick crust. And had a 🍺.

Loved their deep dish pizzas! We also had their flaming saganaki, which is cheese baked in butter and garlic sauce. So yummy!
Absolutely good food! Friendly, nice atmosphere, good prices. Definitely eat here!!
What's not to like? The sauce is very flavorful with just a hint of heat, the toppings are fresh and added generously. The dough is soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside with a wonderful yeasty flavor. Everything about this pizza is delicious. The staff are all super friendly and will help you build your own or you can order one of the standards from the menu. Great pizza, we highly recommend to anyone who appreciates excellent pizza!
The best pizza in town! We love the Pirates special and always have the antipasto salad with our meal!
The pizza is always amazing. The thick crust is delicious. The cheese to sauce ratio is always right. Service is always on point. Their wings are fantastic as well! Try the them hot, if you can stand the heat. One of my favorite pizza places in Reno.
