I started coming here almost 6 months ago after years of doing 26+2 classes on and off at other studios. I’m always nervous to join a new yoga studio, because you never know what the vibe is going to be, if you’ll be judged for your skill level, or pushed to do poses you’re not ready for. The instructors and practitioners at Living Yoga are incredible. This is a studio for all skill levels, all ages, all body types. Everyone is here to lift each other up and practice together. No judgment, no elitism. It’s a safe place to connect with your body and your community. This is the first time I’ve ever had a consistent yoga practice since I started 7 years ago, and it’s really because coming to this studio is the best part of my day!

Work has been getting a little busy and I work from home (very close to the studio), so I haven't been able to go to my regular studio in Manhattan. I learned about this place recently and decided to give it a shot. Warm Vinyasa was my first class and that was, for the most part, great. Not a big fan of inversions (not sure if they are in every class here, but seems like they might be), so I don't do those, but everything else was perfect—not too hard, not too easy. Today, I took Back to Basics. This class was slower than I'm used to, but it was perfect. Sometimes, I lose my foundations, and this was a good reset. I would probably go to this again, but I wouldn't make it a standard part of my routine. The big thing I've noticed at this studio is that there are no consent cards, which I think there should be. If no cards, instructors should check in at the beginning to see who is okay with being corrected. This is the first place I've been to in the last ten years that doesn't do either (again, to my limited knowledge). Today, I did not see any corrections, but there were some yesterday. For a Basic class, though, there should also be the option of hands-on assists.

I discovered Living Yoga a couple months ago, I am absolutely in love with them from the first class to now. I have come to love them more and more, they are my weekly staple. The studio space is clean and spacious. The staff are friendly. Best of all, every instructor has their own unique style and skillful teaching method that allows me to learn and experience yoga. Whether I am looking for some challenge to improve my yoga practice or a sanctuary place to relax my body and mind, I know this is the place. Special shout out to Joneil, Sabrina, Adam, lots of gratitude for guiding me through my yoga journey.

I had my first class with Adam yesterday morning … I had done hot yoga before and it always has music… Adam does his class with no music just his deep intense voice inspiring you to not give up to keep going to fight it… the class amazing!!! He went step by step showing you how to do it and versions of it as well! I’m definitely taking his classes again!! I recommend it 100%! Thank you !!!

Living yoga helped me to come back home within myself. I’ve been coming to this place for over a year and had class with all of the instructors. They’re all GOOD and they love what they do and it shows! Yoga taught me to be patient with myself and respect my body and meet it where it is. I am so excited to see where my yogi journey will lead and I can’t thank this place enough for helping me evolve! If you’re reading this and are new to yoga, come!!! Even after a year, I’m still figuring it out and that’s the best part of the journey. :) Om shanti shanti. May the infinite source keep this place in purity and filled with abundance. 🤲🏽

I recently completed my first month of classes at Living Yoga and have been so happy with my experience that I continued with the unlimited classes new student special. Once I realized the studio was moving to a closer location and they had added more gentle and restorative classes I was excited to try them out! I especially enjoy classes with Mi Han and Yashmani - I always feel so relaxed afterwards!

Friday Night Remedy with Sabrina Lekaj is my favorite Restorative Yoga class. It is a medicine. I love the art of Yoga that continues to open my practice, my heart, and my life. Sabrina is an amazing woman and a very welcoming and supportive teacher of Yoga. She promotes health and healing and invites us to be observers of our own minds. Yoga Nidra with Sabrina is deeply relaxing and healing as it relieves tension and stress. My Mind is the witness to the relaxation of my body, undergoing relaxation itself. I would recommend anyone to take this class with Sabrina @LivingYoga for personal healing and inner peace. Namaste
