Rego Garden

My family & I always order from here & even though I consider it a little pricey, I haven't had any issues with them or my food. Their wings are so good. People complain about little things such as "they didn't provide me with utensils". Well, if you're home at least, I don't think you will eat all your food with your hands, would you?. I prefer not getting utensils because I have my own AT HOME & we don't use too much plastic for the environment. Also, they have this clear sign that they take CASH ONLY so don't complain if you had to walk to an ATM. That's your own fault for not knowing how to read a sign (:

Decent food, four wings, egg fried rice & a Sunkist can cost me $11.25. Thought it was a bit high. Wings and rice were good. Service was average, staff was very polite. I’d try it again at a later date. It’s wasn’t spotless clean but it was comfortable. I’ll try another dish the next time I go back, I’d for sure go back and try another meal. But maybe a lunch special when it’s not so pricey

Sooo good and their diet menu does not lie at all. The best local chinese place in the Rego Park / Queens area. Makes u feel like you are eating authentic Chinese food instead of that overly oiled & fried stuff other places make (no hate no shade). Love rego garden so much have been ordering from them with my family for 10+ years now.

This is my favorite Chinese food venue in all of NYC, not merely Queens. I agree with those who give them 5 stars. Over no less than 10 years, the freshness of oils, the care in preparation, the generous portions, the value, make me that long-time customer. Knowing all the above, I always request quart-size portion. This is my high level of confidence in Rego Garden !

Honest, no-nonsense American-Chinese grub. I work in Lower Manhattan and had Xi'an Famous Foods for lunch today, with a line out the door as usual. I was still feeling Chinese food when I got home and came here. Guess which place's food was less salty, less greasy, less oily, and more like something someone would cook in their own home? Yup, this one. On top of that, the staff is super friendly, the price is right, and service is super quick too. Not to take away anything from the trendier spots, but don't count this joint out just because of its unassuming appearance.
