I stumbled upon this place in Redondo Beach. I am a big fan of Spain and have travelled and dined there frequently so I was curious.
I found this place to be fairly authentic. I tried the sidra and tortilla de jamon and loved both. The lively atmosphere, super friendly service, and overall vibe are very nice. The prices are ok. Portion was of authentic European dimensions too, but I much rather have less of really good quality food anyway.

We are at A Basq kitchen for our family dinners weekly. The flavors of the Basque region of Spain are captured in every flavor offered by this hidden gem in the King Harbor Marina. Redondo Beach is lucky to have such a unique and cultural culinary experience within its boarders. Every week they have awesome pintxo and dinner specials which make every visit a new experience in flavor. Every time we go we order Mejillones(mussels) with dry aged chorizo and Papas Bravas(crispy potatoes with tomato sauce). If it's your first time you should have a calimotxo, a little pick me up before running with the bulls, red wine mixed with Coca Cola Classic. They have many cultural events, chefs dinners and Brunch! Go here and eat some basque bites!

Delicate, subtle, and most satisfying with a casual and relaxing atmosphere. Traditional Basque restaurants are decently uncommon which makes this place pretty special, especially being located on Redondo Beach Pier. I would be a regular here if I could. Enjoy!

Ever since I found out about this place I wanted to give it a try. Came here for my birthday dinner on a Friday night and had the paella. We had to make reservations, order and pay for the paella beforehand. We had tapas before dinner which consisted of papas bravas, pulpo and the tortilla. All which were very tasty, but I think my favorite was the grilled octopus. We also tried the watermelon sangria which was a little sweet, the red sangria (very good), white sangria (very good) and sunset sangria (mixture of red and white). For dinner we had a huge serving of paella 🥘. The skillet it was brought on was huge and got stares from everyone in the place. It was a paella mixta and consisted of clams, oysters, chorizo, calamari and we added shrimp. It was delicious! My dad stated that the paella there was better than the one he had on his trip to Spain. The service was great and the staff was friendly. It's a very small place (maybe 10-11 tables) and a small bar. I recommend making reservations if you plan on going on a Friday or Saturday night. I will definitely be returning soon.

Great place for pintxos and light dinner fare. Really liked the crabbypatty (pictured below,) and the jamon and figs were great. The blue cheese in those things was a nice touch. Great beer selection on tap and solid Spanish wines on the list. Well priced menu for the quality of food they serve, great atmosphere and service as well. I'll be back when work brings me back to the area.

Tucked in by the kayak rentals this gem is incredible! A walk up bar for a nice curated selection of craft beers and various bistro style tables make this place cozy, slightly european and contemporary all at once. I came Sat morning for breakfast Piperrada which is kind of a bell pepper stew with nice slice of Jamon de Bayonne and a fried egg. Served with sliced toasted french bread. Truly Spain. Truly delicious!
I am already anxious to try the whole amazing Spanish menu!
Service is delightful. Treat yourself to something a little different from the norm; try this little gem today!

A great find on the Redondo Beach Pier. They have a great selection of seafood and non-seafood tapas. The half and half sangria was just what we needed on a cold and rainy night.
