I’m in town for training, and was avoiding traffic at rush-hour so I decided to find a local “dive bar“. The bartender greeted me enthusiastically, and provided amazing service. I’m a pool shooter, so worked on some drills. The table for recently re-felted, so that’s good, but if you have your own stick you definitely must bring it. Their selection of three sticks was below par if you’re any kind of shooter. The regulars there are friendly and welcoming, and I was able to pick up a game of pool pretty easily. Bonus points for having Space Dust on tap! This is my last day of training, and when the session is done I’ll be heading here to avoid traffic again. Will definitely come back when I’m in the area.

Good selection of drinks with very reasonable pricing. Decent place to sit and watch games and hang out with other friends. I went there once only and met quite a few new friends.

A dive bar where the bartenders also cook. I got their jalapeno bacon burger and it was one of the better burgers I had in a long time. They are all cooks, that also bar tend when there not in the kitchen.
