Regent Bakery & Cafe

I love this Chinese bakery. I can't get enough of their custard buns and vanilla sponge cake. I have ordered two custom cakes from here so far for birthdays and they were perfect both times. I love that more subtle sweetness of this kind of baking style. The cakes I've had are a fruit cake and a strawberry cake. There are strawberries in the filling. It's heaven. We also get boba tea here from time to time with our buns. They make a great pick me up in the afternoons. There are savory buns as well for lunch that I think might be good too, we just haven't tried them yet. We can't resist getting a Swiss roll for home. Got to buy a moon cake for the Chinese holiday although we aren't Chinese and didn't know anything about the holiday, it was nice being able to taste an authentic moon cake on the day.

Really delicious cake! I didn't order it but I got to taste it. It was something like a mango moose and it wasn't just the typical American birthday cake we're all used to. The flavor and texture was balanced and not just straight sugar. I generally don't go back for seconds with normal cake because it's just too sweet and one dimensional but I was able to finish like half this cake... ooops.

Amazing cakes and desserts. They have a hugeee menu .. I love to have all the deserts they have. You can buy single slices or whole cakes. The prices are very decent too. They also have some bread items too. They have different flavored bun which is great. I loved the red bean bun. This is obviously a must place to visit.
