I had a gift card I needed to use, so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered online for pick up on a Saturday at 4pm so it said the wait was 22 minutes. I was about 10 minutes late picking it up but it was ready when I got there.
The entrance for pick up was hard to find and not marked at all. The main entrance was locked and there was a hose and some tables kind of blocking it. I wasn't even sure if that was the main entrance or not so I started to walk around the building. There was another small unmarked door that ended up being the right one.
Paying and getting the food was easy enough, they just really need a better sign by the door.
The food was pretty good. I'd say it's a little better than Olive Garden.
As always, the bread is amazing. I ordered Fettuccini with chicken. The chicken had a nice smoky flavor. My friends ordered the Mac and cheese bites and liked them as well as the Mac and cheese dinner, which tasted completely different from the bites. Also tasty. And one order of pick your own pasta and sauce, with spicey red sauce, penne pasta and asparagus, bell peppers, and mushrooms. They said it was flavorful as well. We sat outside with a pop up cover, no walls and plenty of space between tables.

My wife and I stop going to Romano's Macaroni Grill 5 years ago because of an unpleasant experience we had with my birthday dinner. After all this time and since the epidemic started with most restaurants not providing outdoor dinning, we decided to give them one more try and WOW!!!! We most highly recommend this restaurant to all! The atmosphere was very enjoyable, the food was very delicious and the service was just amazing!!! We ordered the Penne Rustica and it was just awesome!! To finish off our meal we had the decadent chocolate cake and it was amazing!!! To the manager Jose, you are one of the nicest gentlemen we have ever encountered and to our server Kalei, with your most welcoming and beautiful personality you have provided us with the most pleasant dining experience that made our night out the best we could hope for!! If you‘re looking for place to eat with the most enjoyable atmosphere, great food and 5 star service don’t look any further, Romano's Macaroni Grill in Redlands CA is the place to be!!!!! Jose and Kalei if I could give you 10 stars I would!! Thanks again!!!
