Had a family there for dinner on Sat Nov 4 at 5:45 decided to eat there at the last minute. We are on the outdoor covered patio. So glad we try this restaurant as the food and drinks were wonderful and the service very good. Five is us ate and sampled several appetizers and entrees. The selection of wine by the glass is excellent I had a Patz & Hall Chardonnay as well as a vineyard 29 Cabernet both were great although for $20.00 a glass for the cab I felt the pour was a little lite. We had the garlic butter shrimp appetizers and the prosciutto Cristini with burrieta both were excellent and large enough portion that five people could eat. They serve warm crusty breadsticks with olive oil that are very good. For the entree the short ribs with polenta is excellent as is the pasta with large jumbo shrimp and spinach with sun dried tomatoes. I recommend reservations on Friday or Saturday evening. Only negative is for a 4-5star restaurant I was surprised that when a guest asked for ketchup for her pommel frites the waiter brought out a near empty large bottle of ketchup instead of a small 1-2oz serving bowl. Overall wonderful place to enjoy dinner in downtown Redlands. Looking forward to going back !
Caprice is the finest dining in Redlands, without a doubt. Whether looking for a quick bite, and entree, a drink, or a dessert, they've got you covered. The interior offers a sultry ambiance while the outdoor seating allows a quaint view of Redlands' historic downtown State Street. They are stocked with a full bar and it's always been my experience for those interested in fine wine, liquor, or beer to get a fantastic recommendation based on their own personal tastes. If you haven't tried it you need to, if you tried it once and didn't immediately love it then you have to give it another chance. It's a shining gem of culinary accomplishment in town.
A local favorite and established restaurant. One of the Redlands Restaurants offering outdoor dining with social distancing. Great atmosphere with a live jazz band. Vegetarians have a few selections on the extensive menu. Fine wine, craft beer & cocktails. Make a reservation 😉
Mom and I had lunch here on a Wednesday with no reservations. We were seated right away after mask checks and were seated in the quaint cozy patio. Mom ordered the Australian lamb and I had the sausage pizza. Mediterranean style food very good. Bill was about $100 including drinks and two appetizers
Nice heated patio seating. Cool downtown locale. Lady and I had the steak carpaccio, butter lettuce salad with the chevré and Trout for the main. All prepped to spec and delicious. Nice variety of wines and tasty cocktails. Could offer better port wines, but not a deal breaker. Good experienced servers. Try it, you'll Like it.
Sarah was awesome.
Food was perfect.
Wine choices are wonderful.
Lava cake hit the spot.
Jazz band in the street enhanced the mood.
5 stars because of the interior, the service, and the wagyu burger. The dishes are hit and miss. We liked the eggplant lasagna, the burger, but the spicy angel hair pasta and the daily soup was a miss. The interior is wonderful modern and cozy with high unfinished ceilings and openinga for the sun to shine through. They have real plants and trees all throughout the place.
Unique, delicious menu! Artichoke toast and puy lentils were outstanding. Good cocktails too, nice outdoor seating in Redlands downtown area with good, friendly hostess and servers.
Quality Meals at this location - excellent. I'll return with my coworkers. This place has a great design.
