Absolutely wonderful mom and pop establishment. Everything we've had was above and beyond for food quality. Portions are perfect and the prices are half of any other restaurant in town. I love the chili Colorado, the wife has crispy chicken tacos, granddaughters have the chicken enchiladas. Bomb food! Most get take-out as dinning area is small, though mostly we eat there. We love the boss lady! She's just the best! If you love home cooking, this is the place! 5/6/22 Google doesn't let you do multiple reviews so I'm adding this new dish! Cajun spicy shrimp with added grilled Serrano peppers. Absolutely the best Mexican shrimp dinner I've ever had! We go here weekly, just can't say enough about this place!!!

This place is legitimate. It really doesn’t look like much from the outside (or the inside for that matter) but when you seek good tacos...these are subtle signs one must look for. I greeted kindly by an nice older woman, I asked for recommendations on tacos; she said the carne asada and chicken. The tacos at $3 each are of a decent size, 2x the size of a street taco. 3 was the perfect number for me and those 3 were of excellent quality. The beef and chicken were well seasoned, and consisted of actually meat as opposed to chucks of grizzle or ground beef. Nice and simple, just like all the best things in life.

We stopped in while passing through Redding on I-5, and were helped by an attentive young adult who had no problem answering our questions and was very kind even as we changed items mid-order. QUCIK service; cashier yelled back "alright dad!" after he took my order, certainly a family-run place and delicious food. Fantastic quality carne asada and they use amazing homestyle tortilla chips for the nachos. Wife had a cheese quesidilla ("kids meal" comes with rice/beans and she had leftovers) -- we could not have been happier with the quality or portion for price. This restaurant is absolutely worth the stop if you are passing by/through Redding, we will plan around stopping here on our next trip!

I LOVE food and I especially love finding good food and this place hits the mark!! The al pastor taco is amazing!! The meat is charred but it brings out the flavor so well. My husband and I were just passing through Redding but we really wanted some good Mexican food and we were not disappointed! He got the California burrito and he loved it! 10/10 would recommend and stop here on our way back home!

Stopped by for lunch for the first time on March 5. The restaurant was open for dining in, take out and they have a drive thru. They weren't too busy just before noon, so I was able to order quickly. My order arrived at my table pretty fast and was very good. I will return to try other items on the menu.

We go there about once a month for lunch. The place is small (I think about 6 indoor tables) with very friendly staff (2 people). I'm always impressed with the cleanliness. My wife and I usually get the Chile Rellenos and a side of chips with sauce. I've tried some of the other dishes and found all of them to be really good. The portions are smaller than most Mexican restaurants and we like that. No beer or wine but that's just fine for lunch.
