Texas Reds Steakhouse And Saloon

Met friends there for dinner. Great atmosphere, they had a local entertainer singing, which was good. The service was excellent. Our New York strip steaks were not up to the quality for the price we paid. This is a $$$ pricing. We are willing to come back as it may have been an off night for the the quality of steak. Normally better.

The food is good. I am one of those terrible people who likes their steaks well done. I got a rare steak saturated on blood, and the server told me that it was in fact well done. It was not, she took it back to have it cooked longer and came a minute later (like literally a minute) with medium well steak. (Clearly a different streak)I took it to the Lodge and finished cooking it myself. The Okra, fried pickles, hamburger, fries, chicken and ham sandwiches were amazing though. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great. And their menu is a good read too.

The last two times we had been to Texas Reds were not that great. However, since Sundance sucks now and isn’t even open except two nights a week, we decided to give Texas Reds another shot. They did not disappoint! The service was amazing! The food was really good - we had elk burger, steak burger and a NY Strip at our table - all were wonderful! Only bad part was I ordered coke and sent it back twice - tasted like diet - was horrible. Ended up just drinking water instead. They’ve redeemed themselves! We will be back.

Clean cheerful environment. Excellent service. Excellent food. Nice bar selection of mixed drinks, beers and wines. They do not take reservations so if you're in a rush, don't waste your time, but it was well worth the wait, relaxing, in comfortable chairs. While waiting for our turn to be called for our table. The people around us we're friendly. We vacationed in Red River and our group liked this restaurant so much we ate dinner here twice.

We had a group of 6, and our waitress did a fantastic job. My tea was never below half glass. I ordered the 8oz bacon wrapped filet (medium), and it was cooked perfectly. Got a dinner salad with the meal. Loved it. The fresh bread was great as well. Kind of reminds me of a pretzel bread. We will be back.

First time to Red River and we decided on our last night to give this place a try. We were not disappointed! I was told to get there by 5PM which is 30 minutes after open. Entertainment was small town awesome and food just amazing! Family of 5, we had 3 filets, a strip, and a prime rib! All I can say is we were happy all around. Price to be expected but well worth it. I think we found a new family tradition. I forgot to take pic when I got plate but my filet oh so good!!!
