Bull O' The Woods

Great place to unwind after a day playing in Red River. Whether it be skiing, hiking, flyfishing with a local guide, jeeping, rock-climbing, or whatever the Bull is a good landing spot. Lots of local "color" in this saloon. Over 100 different beers, great music, and a beer garden where you can bring your fur babies and kiddos. Lots of legends have passed through the bat wing doors to this place. On the downside frequent staffing issues i.e., can't find enough people who want to work but that is not unusual these days.

Tiana was an amazing server. You have to order the drinks at the bar and food at the separate register. The atmosphere was kid friendly. The food was ok. I ordered a combo appetizer, but there weren't any potstickers or Buffalo cauliflower, lots of cheesecurds, 6 jalapeño poppers, and maybe 10 zucchini fries. The dressing options for the wedge salad were Caesar, Blue cheese, or Ranch. Chicken Tender Basket is reminiscent of Dairy Queen. The bathrooms were very clean.

We stopped in for late Saturday lunch and music. Nice saloon vibe, wood everywhere, with TV's catching some sporting events. The drinks, burger and nachos were great. They have a pretty spacious outdoor seating area and good service. You order your food then they page you when it's ready. It's a wise solution given the staffing shortages. They bring in musicians throughout the weekend. And there's room for dancing should you feel the need to put on your cowboy boots or boogie shoes.
