The Cheese Cave

My daughter and I had the most amazing night out the Cheese Cave in Red Bank, New Jersey for Cheese Tasting event on May 18th. The group was small but very comfortable. The owner Steve was very knowledgeable about the different types for cheeses, their origins and what you should look for. Lacey who was our hostess for the event was outstanding, very personable, attentive and just a nice person. Most of all we met a group of women who made us feel like we had known each other for years. If you do nothing else I encourage you to stop by and check it out. They do more than cheese and are know for the sandwiches. We will definitely be back. Thanks again for a great evening.

This is the first time I've ordered a cheese platter from Cheese Cave and all I can say is that I will be back over and over again! The platter was stunning and it was so beautifully composed. So delicious and what a beautful presentation! My guests were very impressed. I can't say enough good things, the staff is so helpful and wonderful as well!

After about two years of holding onto a Groupon for a cheese tasting at The Cheese Cave due to the pandemic shutdown and employee shortage, I was finally able to tentatively book my cheese tasting in 2022. While I was on a phone call with Cheese Cave employee Alexander, he made an assuming, condescending and judgmental comment. Alexander did apologize but I was so taken back by his unprofessional and arrogant remark that I worked with Groupon to have my purchase refunded. I would like to clarify and say that this review is not based on covid policy as I believe that it is important to follow safety practices to overcome covid-19, but rather how I was negatively spoken to by an employee.
