Guru Sub & Grocery Store

Been visiting this place for the past 13 years. Staff has always been respectful and deliver in a timely manner when I’ve been unable to leave the house. It’s under new management now and they have some banging pastelillos freshly made. They’re also selling hot lunches rice, beans and meat. Btw their meat packages are affordable and worth it.

Submitted order for 4 people. Ordered 3 different salads, club sandwich, and desserts. They sent the sandwich and dessert. How am I going to feed 4 people with that? I thought I received the wrong order. The restraunt should have contacted me. I would have been willing to swap out some items for others. However the food was great.

Absolutely horrible!! They claim to rent Uhaul moving trucks but after reserving a truck online was told that I couldn't get one. The owner and store clerk were slow and incompetent. They accused me of trying to scam them because I wanted someone else to drive it. The store itself was dirty and rundown but had large variety of soda, snacks and blunt wraps. Some of the food they prepared looked ok but they have no idea what an Italian hoagie is.

Expensive and inventory is bare. Bought garlic bread that was overpriced and was stale when I opened it. I checked the expiration date and it was June 2017. Too bad it was December 2017 when this happened. The staff are nice and helpful but the prices are outrageous. I try to support the Mom and Pop stores but with prices this high I find myself with no choice but to shop at Walmart as I'm sure many neighbors in the area do as well. It's hard to support this store at prices this high on my budget.
