The food, servers and Jimmie Kramer are worth the trip. We are here for a Reading Civic Theater play so the restaurant was almost fully booked. We got the last table and were so lucky. Lobster, fish and chips and cannot recommend the crab dip highly enough. Not to be missed. Fish and Chips so good couldn't wait to take the pic and started to eat!

Took my son for his 21st birthday and the service couldn't have been better. Awesome beer selection and the fried pickles are pretty darn good.

I can start by saying if you visit or even live in Reading you have to come visit this restaurant.The food is delicious and the atmosphere is so interesting. I loved everything about this place. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I recommend this place to everybody. 5 out of 5 stars from me!

A Reading, PA institution - the original place with fresh peanuts on every table and piles of shells on the floor. Food is generally quite good - many of the recipes have been on the menu, untouched, for decades. The wings were voted "in the top 10 in the US" by USA Today - ironically they don't come anywhere close to living up to the hype. Reasonable selection of beer and good cocktails. Desserts are made in-house and tasty. Well worth a visit - one of the bright spots in Reading...
