Honest Burgers Reading

There are many burger restaurants to choose from and I think I've probably been to most. Of them all, I can confidently say this was the best. The menu is simple and I find that a refreshing change to some places. The food was fresh, well prepared and tasty. The portions were just about right too. They make a point to promote local beers, which is something I am a strong supporter of. They were very busy today and relied on just two servers so service wasn't the quickest but that's not a criticism of the servers themselves as they were on point and did the best they could. I would strongly suggest trying the gravy as it was heavenly. I'll be coming again for sure.

Came here for lunch today. They have great gluten free options. We had a smash burger and a normal thicker burger. Neither of us were blown away by the burgers we had - the meat was great but the toppings together just didn't really taste that brilliant. The burgers were went for were specials rather than standard, so maybe that's why? The onion rings were incredible though. Staff were really friendly. They have board games there too.

Absolutely delicious food and amazing service. Waitress was great in helping both me and my friend decide what to get. The food arrived promptly and was piping hot. All cooked to perfection. I am a sweet over savoury person, but Honest Burger holds a special place in my heard. The rosemary sea salt chips and incomparable to any other chip - they are like the best chip you have ever eaten crossed with the best roast potato you have ever eaten. I get the plant burger. which is also incredible (when using Beyond meat, this is expected!). I also switched the vegan cheese for American cheese this time (I am vegetarian, not vegan) which I think I preferred! Highly recommend Honest Burger if you want to mega level up your Burger and Fries game (ps. they also do Blue Light discounts every day of the week!)

Visited Honest Burgers Reading with my wife in Friday lunchtime. My wife has an allergy and the guy managing the floor could not have been more thorough. Easily the best experience we have had regarding attention to making sure that the allergen was not in the food. We enjoyed our burgers and drinks. Service was good. We would come back again.

The food was good, as was the service but the music was way too loud for us and the booth fixed seating wasn't very comfy - to be fair, there were other tables with normal chairs, but we didn't want to sit right in the middle. I'm happy to admit these issues are more preference on our part rather than the place itself.
