Been here twice and the food has been really good. Highly recommend this restaurant if your passing by. The Catfish and Shrimp plate is medium-light spicy, but really good. Gumbo comes with plate. Vegetables as side order or onion ring also great. Food was Hot and fresh when served. Service by waitress was awesome. You won't be disappointed.

This was our first time here.. This place is outstanding...The food was so good. My husband had the Hamburger steak. He said it was the best he's had. I had the Fish and Shrimp with Sweet Potato Fries. The shrimp were big and cooked perfectly. The fish was also cooked perfectly. The Sweet Potato Fries were the best I've had..Everything was perfect. The waitress was an absolute doll. We will definitely be back when we are on that side of town. They also have a buffet that looked delish..It's a definite must try..

We went there for Mother's Day and the wait was so long before we could get in. Once we got in and got our food, we had to say " it was well worth the wait"😋Everything was so fresh and hot. Omg the food was just awesome. I will be suggesting this place to my friend and family.

I had a friend that lives in Louisiana, told me to stop by this place, Rascals. He said the women were nice and friendly.
I went in and asked one too many questions about the food and the slender, bright skin, lady that was so called helping me got an attitude, she looked at the older white lady that was putting the food out and mumble under her breath and laughed. I told her to put the food back I don't want it.
If it aggravates you for people to ask questions about your food, put names and descriptions on the food. Hell, I don't live in Louisiana, I just like the food. I was going to get some out the freezer and take back to my children because they love the Cajun too but I refuse to spend my money and be treated like that.

Very good and nice variety of seafood. Best bread pudding I've had in awhile.

Service was very good. Prices seemed to be good for buffet as well as menu prices. Buffet cost was basically same as the menu price but all you can eat.
Buffet food selection changes daily.
For Tuesday, it was pork chops, vegetables, and desert.
Some vegetables (corn and green bean dishes) were spicy with some type pepper and slightly over cooked.
Smothered pork chops and fried pork chops were good typical of Cajun cooking. Fried pork chops were more spicy than smothered chops. Rice was very good and fluffy. Rolls were very good. Desert was fair-peach type cobbler.

I had been there few months ago and the food was great...tasty and fresh...today was a big disappointment 😞... I ordered the half and half grilled, the shrimps were hard and overcooked, no seasoning and very far from what it says "jumbo". The strips of catfish had no seasoning, my sides of sweet potato fries were soggy. The bread was burned and no butter came with it! Our orders took a while but was served to us cold. I ordered lemonade but the smell of tap water was very strong, so I had to order diet coke. The food was horrible. The only fresh and hot food we got was the fried pickles...I was wondering if there was a change in chef or management...
