Devine Delights

We were just getting ready to graduate as Massage Therapists. Financially, we stank, but we loved our new talents that we had gained. How it would all turn out was a huge mystery but we new we would somehow rise from the ashes as Graceful Touch massage therapy. That is so important when it comes to talking about the heart of DeVine Delights. They have walked with us through the entire process of our startup. When we needed a listening ear... They were there. When our tummies were empty... They were there. As vegans they always have exactly what we are looking for including ice-cream that we can eat. However, we have personally even heard non-vegans raving about this place. NOTE: It might be a bit hard to find their location but once you do you will be extremely happy you took the time to figure it out. Use your GPS and it will likely take you right to them. They have literally bent over backwards to make our experience in Rapid City a massive success. Not only is their food delicious but their hearts are full of tender compassion for everyone they serve.

Nice little place located inside of a business center atrium. It is operated by a nice elderly man who cooks in a home-like style kitchen. There are cold sandwiches and salads made for purchase. Other things like burgers are made fresh. Definitely reccomend coming for a quick bite. The food tasted great.

Traveling across the US, this was the only all vegan place my wife and I came across leaving west from Chicago and passing through South Dakota. A little pricey for a sandwich (~$6 - $8 depending) if you're not vegan, but actually cheaper than a lot of other places. If you've never had a Beyond Burger, they know how to make a good one here. Damn tasty. Also, not sure what's up with the one previous reviewer saying there's no customer service... the "old guy" was kind, attentive, and serviced us well. The shop is tiny, so if he didn't notice you, perhaps because he was busy, maybe just speak up.

Wow. Incredible food and 100% vegan! In all my years traveling, I'm very excited to announce that Rapid City finally has a place that's all vegan. Not only that, but Devine Delights manages to have a diverse menu, along with vegan ice cream and cold items to go! The Beer Brat sandwich was delicious. I rarely find really good mock sausage meals/sandwiches, but this one did not disappoint. It had just the right balance of bread, "meat" and kraut, to go along with a flavorful punch. I dipped into the ice cream realm and that was just as good as the main meal, if not better! The peanut butter chocolate fudge ice cream was outstanding. Unlike most vegan homemade ice cream, this was thick and creamy, without any odd aftertaste. So good! To top it all of, they have reasonable prices that can be hard to find at most vegan dining establishments. The sandwich and three big scoops of ice cream came out to less than $10. I will definitely be coming here again when I'm anywhere remotely near Rapid City!

I was skeptical of vegan cuisine in South Dakota at first to be honest. Coming from San Francisco, I thought that there's no way their vegan ice cream or vegan burger would come close. It turns out though, that the lovely people running the place have worked on their vegan recipes for years and it's truly fabulous. They were very excited to let me sample everything too. Despite being tucked away in an obscure building, it is worth the visit!
