It was ok, exactly what it says on the sign, just a Philly. I had the Packer and Monterey Mac and Cheese. I tip my hat to this owner as Phillys can be a VERY judgmental food and people can get mean but the creativity was fun for the interior theme. It’s a Philly Cheese steak place in South Dakota, be nice people.
I would go back because they had many different options I wanted to try but not physically possible to eat everything : ).
Bread was chewy and portions were ok. I’d say give it a try and enjoy!

Fantastic lunch at Philly Ted's!
Had a chicken Philly and it was delicious! The french fries were hot and crisp, great taste. I don't often give 5 stars but this earned it!

My husband and I i’ve been craving a Philly cheesesteak, after reading the mixed reviews we decided to give Philly Ted’s a try for ourselves. We were not disappointed.
My husband had the footlong build your own cheese steak with extra meat, and I got the six inch. Our sandwiches came from the kitchen piping hot with the right amount of melted cheese and ready to be devoured.
If you are in Rapid City give Philly Teds a try! We will definitely eat here again.

Aah my suggestion is to not purchase anything from these guys, my wife and I thought we were getting Philly cheese steak sandwiches. Nope. Just bread and meat.
No cheese, no onions. Nothing. I ordered fries and they were ok. What I’m trying to say is that you can go to Subway and actually get two fully loaded sandwiches for under 20 dollars. Trust me you will be much happier if you do that. Just a suggestion.

I don't know, had a few cheese steaks in my day. This one was watery. It definitely fits the philly style but there was something odd about the watery-ness .. like the sauce or cheesy sauce was separated, could see the liquid as you got center sandwich. It tasted good though. I went in Friday at 6pm. It was 43min of sitting and waiting for $12.75 cheese steak. Yes 43 MINUTES. 6 others inside waiting as well including Uber eats driver. There were flies inside. Garbage was full. Maybe they are short handed. I don't know. If you're a moderate clean freak I would say skip. If you're a cheese steak nut and avoid the 43min wait it's worth a try. See photos I posted.

This place beats all other sandwich shops downtown. Maybe in the city. Weight of meat used is 5 ounces. Sides are good portioned too. You will leave stuffed.

After a long trip decided to stop here with a group of family. One family member had a giant hoagie with a small hot dog. I guess they were out of buns but wasn’t informed. My husband then got a sandwich that had a big hair in it that came from the cook. Not a good experience at all.

A little dissapointed. The sandwitches had about 4 inches of bread with no meat in it. I ordered with mushrooms and I had about 5 slices on my sandwich. Bacon was not even noticable on my "Viking". The meat was flavorless and dry for the most part. Used to be good but not any longer. Don't waste your money.
