Over all good experience. The food wasnt the best. You could tell food had been sitting under a heat lamp. Didn't taste or look fresh. Service was quick but felt rushed .
Somehow I accidentally deleted my review. I'll rewite it. Our servers, Melissa and Kai were amazing, we had a great time. The food was perfect. Every order was spot on and they were very attentive. Also accommodating to my 100 year old grandmother. We had 28 people who are usually hard to please, but everyone had a glowing review. I had meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Others had salmon and chicken piccata. And the soup was great. I had mushroom soup and others had tomato bisque. We had a wonderful time!
This place did not disappoint. Decided to get the weekend brunch deal and it was definitely worth it. I had the Cesar salad, strawberry waffle, and finished it off with tiramisu. The strawberry sauce on the waffle was a little too sweet but still delicious. The tiramisu was perfect I only wish I had more room to eat more. I highly recommend this place. It was clean, the decor was nice and the food was delicious.
This place has amazing gluten free food! The menu for gluten free was huge! I wish I could have tried everything, but instead, I limited myself to trying 6 things. First, the staff was helpful with my many questions regarding the food, (a special shiut out to Lulu, my amazing waitress!), they were calm, welcoming, and courteous. I tried the artichoke dip with GF chips, it had gooey cheese and chunks of artichoke, plenty to share with 4 people. The main course I tried were the braised short ribs and the chicken Florentine. The meat fell off of the bone it was was so soft. The seasonal veggies, were carrots and asparagus, which were stramed to the point of leaving the outside soft, and the inside a bit harder, so perfect! The chicken Florentine was stuffed with tomatoes, a delicate goat cheese, and spinach, with a mushroom sauce on top. Served with a side of real red mashed potatoes. It was heaven. For desert we went crazy and got 3! First, the creme brule, caramelized top, with a rich creamy custard underneith. Second, was the chocolate cake, a dense, rich, chocolate with a raspberry drizzle. And finally we got the cotton candy, because why not! We bagged it to go and snacked on it while we went for a walk around the river. We found a new favorite restaurant where I can eat other things besides a salad!
The food was surprisingly, very good. Mushroom soup, wow. Mushroom tower thing, wow. Gf and low carb options, wow. Impressed. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Happy we stopped here. Don't let the "not so luxury" feel, deceive you. The other restaurants around might have a more cozy feel, fancy feel... This place is very good. That's all. And yoo, the espresso Martini, mmmmm good.
I enjoyed my visit to Acqua California Bistro. The food was fresh, the waitstaff was attentive and the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. I was with a party of four and we chose to sit outside. Highway 111 is not far away but how they have it set up you only see the vehicles if you chose to look but you do not hear them.
I had the fresh Ahi Poke and my lunchmates had the cod fish & chips. Everyone was very happy with their meals and commented they would be back. Finding a great place at a moderate price is a challenge here in Coachella Valley. The River seems to have a few spots i would like to visit and will do so in the near future.
As for ADA the entrance to the restaurant is large and the access to the outside seating area perfect. My wheelchair didn't prohibit traffic passing the table and didn't cause any issues while I was at the table.
Overall a great experience and look forward to returning and discovering more of their very expansive menu.
We tried Acqua for the 1st time during our last visit with friends in the desert. What an outstanding restaurant! Everything was superb. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. We are now huge fans of this place and will definitely be back the next time we are in town!
We had a great dinner here! We have come to Palm Springs several times and for some reason never checked our Acqua! It didn't disappoint. We went with the four course option for $39.99 and each course was delicious. Definitely worth the price! There were SO many menu choices, so there's something for everyone. The portions were very generous so we were glad they let us pack some of our entrees up. Our server, Latrice, was one of the best servers I have ever had. She was so personable, happy and helpful and made it a truly great experience. She even surprised us at the end with a goblet of cotton candy and sang Happy Birthday to my husband with me. That was next level and we definitely didn't expect that. Everyone who helped us was attentive and fast. We will certainly be back again and probably make it a regular rotation when we visit PS.
Superb patio, one of the best operations in the Desert. Owner also has LuLu's in Palm Springs, good local owners with a we'll run operations. Bar is awesome at Happy hour and menu is actually very similar to LuLu's. Check out the steak and eggs ..b4 11 am, Enjoy
Acqua is definitely worth your time and money. It's a funky spot with an extensive menu and solid food. The decor and setting make for a unique experience. I recommend it based on service and quality.
