Famous Dave's

Ordered a curbside pickup for 5:00. Sitting parking lot still right now waiting for our food at 6:00. Trying to get through on the phone that entire hour; our food that was supposed to be ready at 5:00 must be cold by now. Finally get through on a different line than the curbside pickup phone lines. Famous “Laura” snaps back at us and tells us nastily that if we’ve been waiting that long, we should go inside. Doesn’t that defeat the whole purpose of curbside pickup? We told her we’re waiting outside for our order and Then Famous Laura hangs up on us. We will not be coming back.

Food was great (about an hours wait) I had the 3 meat combo.. service was terrible, we were say down in the sunlight and asked if we can move to another table that was empty in the shade. Our server had to go ask her manager if we can move tables. Well she came back and said her manager said NO we couldn't move. We asked to speak to the manager and when our server came back we were told that the manager wouldn't come.out to speak to us about moving tables. Well abou615 min into our dinner she comes blackout and says that a table has just come available. Okay when there was 2 other tables that had been empty for about 30min already. Well service after that went down hill. Mind you were eating Famous Dave's, and we had to ask for extra napkins and water. The table in front of us our server took care if them but when she left she never to a glance or asked us if we needed anything. So before we left I asked her, did I make u mad or what did we do to get sucj6bad s ere service. She replied that she didn't want to bother us by asking if we needed anything. 😅😂🤣🤣. Okay sure!! Wow. This was my first and last time at our bbq place!! Way to leave a lasting impression on my first visit!!! Thanks Dave!!!

Fast service, attentive, but i found the food lacking in spice, recording to how i like. The food was pretty well executed. My disappointment was the sauce on ribs and the sauces generally speaking. I'm a Kansas city and st Louis style sauce guy. I like Carolina's moping sauce too... They're sauces was nice and fresh but not my taste, that doesn't mean that some other million people doesn't like it. Overall good food, fast service, nice place, good price for a California restaurant.

This bbq is so out of bounds, You could put it on a flip flop and eat it! The portions are amazingly large, so bring your appetite 🥩🍗 Tender juicy smoked for over 14 hours, the brisket is fork tender! Not to mention smoked sausage and smoked dry rub rib tips mac and cheese, so much more to choose from. So glad to see they

One of the best BBQ places I had. Wait time is a bit longer than the usual but its because the outside dining area is not big enough. We had to wait about 30-45min. But considering the situation we are living in, that's is totally acceptable. Staff cleans the tables and chair completely before they allow someone else to sit. Food is well served and hot, proportions are big. We ordered the platter for two, you could easily feed 3-4 people with the amount of food they served. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Place is very cleaned and well organized. The only thing I would say is that since the main restaurant is closed and there is no signs. People was getting confused as to where to go to check in which caused confusion and people cutting the line. But since all this new normal, I understand business are trying to adapt and try to their best. So I don't think this would be enough for a star. After all this place is a great place to eat and spend a good quality time with friends or family.

I have enjoy this place on several occassions but, my last experience was a total fail. I ordered online as they suggest you do for faster service. When arrived I parked in one of the assigned spots and called the number listed on the sign to let them know I was there. I was caller #3 according to the message. Shortly after I arrived an employee came out to the car next to me to deliver food and then I was caller 2. A few minutes more and I was the next caller so far nothing too bad. During my wait I watched a number of people walk up, get seated and served drinks and chips in the outdoor ding area which was located to my left. I saw the employee who had brought food out to the car next to me talking with a server in the dining area and still not acknowlege me nor answer the phone when she went back to the pick up area. After 15 minutes or so I decided to go in since no one was answering the phone nor did any of the staff who saw me sitting in the designated spot come to my car like they had to the car that was previously parked beside me. I then waited another 10 - 15 minutes to get my order which was sitting on the counter getting cold the entire time I waited. The order was incorrect and not up to their usual standards so after a negative ordering, pickup and dining experience I will not be back anytime soon. BTW no one ever did answer my phone call as I remained the next caller all the way home for a total wait time over 48 minutes before I finally hung up. They should be clear with customers about the pick up process and the signs should say come in to pick up your order If they are not going to come out nor answer the phone when you arrive.
