China Dragon

We have tried 5 other Chinese restaurants in the area with not good luck, until we found this place! The food here is amazing, best in the twin cities suburbs we have found. Big portion sizes for their take out, we got two nights worth of meals in each container. The wontons are soft with a nice crunch. We got the orange chicken, the happy family from the chefs special, and the thicker noodles, are all so tasty. Egg drop soup is in a huge container too. All the food was steaming hot when we got home 45 minutes later, they did a good job packaging and preparing the food. I think I found our new favorite Chinese Restaurant. If you are looking for a good one in the area, try this one!

This is a great take out Chinese place. Food is always tasty and fresh. Prices are very reasonable with good options. If you are looking for some quick and tasty Chinese food this is the place to go. The place is clean and has an open workspace so you can watch them cook it if you want to. They are also very prompt and quick and they’re cooking. The only reason for four-star is I wish they had a little bit more comfortable place to sit and eat. But that is not what they seem to be geared for and that’s OK.

2 weeks in a row I tried to order from here, only to have them cancel and close after a multi hour wait. Mind you, I ordered at 530pm both times. Don't waste your time, you will end up hungry! Update- tried takeout. After a long wait, the food wasn't worth the gas to pick up. I'll stick with my other favorite places.

First time here today. I hesitate with Chinese places because a lot of places taste different. China Dragon will be my go to for Chinese food in the Anoka area! I ordered beef w/ broccoli and beef lo mein. It was PERFECT! Lately my experiences with Chinese restaurants have been salty lo mein, and I am sooo happy that China Dragon’s lo mein is not salty. I am super satisfied! Their hot chili oil is actual spicy which is another plus! Most places’ chili oil has no spice to it. Oh, and their beef is perfectly cooked! I love it! Perfect and crunchy broccoli too!

I believe that we have tried just about every Asian restaurant in the surrounding area and we have decided that CHINA DRAGON is the best option in the Northwest twin cities. We have eaten may different dishes from here including Sesame Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, Pork Lo Main, and others. Our favorites include the house Egg Foo Yung which is light and crisp with a sauce that is right in the middle between too runny, like soup, and too thick like Jell-O, in other words, perfect. Another household favorite is the Honey Walnut Shrimp. It is a light battered tempura style shrimp with the sweet white honey glaze. Awesome. There is no menu confusion with sizes, since all entrees are served in Quart sizes (not pints....who orders a pint of Chinese food seriously?) and the prices are very reasonable. We have learned you can order through door dash for delivery or on their web site for pickup. We don't eat out a ton since I like to cook but when we want to take a night off, this is a sure win.
